Ned to sort a couple places where I needed to use 2 plates in place of one 1x6 plate on the bonnet and the roof but you get the idea. May tweak some parts to make the bumpers stick out less on the future.
Hi guys. Back with my updated EDC. A lot has changed, I think for the better.
Phone: Galaxy Z Fold8, I had a Fold3 years ago but didn't like the form factor so I ended up going back to iPhone. Enjoying this smaller passport style fold a lot more than the longer remote control feel of previous models.
e-reader: Kobo Clara BW (2024), I still own the XTEINK X4 but I tend to gravitate towards this these days due to the back light. It's winter I don't get too much light in the evening to read. Prefer the sharper BW display over the color ones.
Earphones/IEMS: Ziigaat Odyssey 2, picked these up in Japan for a good price. Sound is slightly crisper than my FiiO JH5 from the previous post. The metal shell is a nice touch. The included carry case holds them and my DAC comfortably.
DAC: FiiO QX13, so last post I was using a DAP (M300). But I was starting to get sick of managing two devices (phone + Android DAP). Decided on the QX13 as it has plenty of power for any IEM and also drives my HD660S2s with ease on power. I can also listen to it all day at work with it's own independent power so my phones battery doesn't get touched.
Bluetooth Buds: Galaxy Bud Pro 4, wanted something that had better ANC than the technics. And they work nicer with my Fold8. Sound is pretty good. But trebble can be a little harsh. Only really use these for calls or when I'm out and about.
Backpack: Alpaka Metro 12L in green, carries my Kobo, IEM case and my lunch for work. Does the job.
Anyone have a nice layout they'd like to share for the Fold8 (wide). Struggling to get a nice looking landscape now playing screen.
Sorry if this is a stupid question. But I’m looking into upgrading my M300 to the M21 as I’m planning on purchasing a pair of HD650/660S headphones and was wondering if I can still use apps on the device like Symfonium to listen to music? or does it just turn the device into a dumb DAC and I need to connect to another device?
