Poop in the garden

So my house backs on to a set of 4 houses, they're terrace houses. I was in my garden with my 2 dogs playing and my big dog decided to do a poo. Now I'm a proud home owner, my garden is clean, nice and tidy and I've never left a jobby in the garden...1 singular poo was left at the back of the garden for 10 minutes while my dogs finished playing and then I put them in the house and got cleaning supplies.

I then came back out with 2 poo bags as my dog is a small pony, and my hose to clean the grass. Anyway, I'm crouched down cleaning and I feel burning on my forehead, I look up and there's my normally nice and friendly neighbour SCOWLING at me through the gap in the fence.

I was obviously very taken aback and sort of low-key fell back with fright. She started screaming at me, I mean screaming about how that dog poo had ruined her whole day. I laughed because honestly I did think she was joking, I mean it's 1 poo and his poo doesn't even smell very bad because of his diet, obviously it's still a poo but he eats plenty fibre so they're solid. Anyway moving on from the poo..my neighbour was not joking.

She proceeded to call me and my husband lazy, she called my dog fat (he isn't, he's a puppy) and said that she'd be putting poison on the fence line!! Now we don't share a fence, my neighbours garden and mine are separated by a large path and there are bins along the path. So essentially, she's saying she's putting poison in my garden. I was so taken aback I didn't say anything because I just thought wtf?

I went back out a few days later playing ball with them, she said that they shouldn't be out the back garden she started shouting again!! I really had enough, I'm going through cancer treatment just now and it just upset me as we got on so well previously. I asked her to leave me alone and if she threw, sprayed or put anything dodgy in my garden I'd seek legal advice.

I left it at that and decided not to speak to her again, my cleaner has a friend who deep cleans gardens, so she came out and cleaned the whole garden and fence line and I've added a little fence to stop my dogs going up the back of the garden where potentially shes putting poison.

Today I had a chap at the door, from none other than the council! They said they'd received a complaint that my garden was covered in dog poo. Literally everywhere. The council lady came out back and laughed and said well very clearly it's a false allegation.

So I filled her in on all the drama that's been going on, and she told me that it was that neighbour who'd complained. I wasn't surprised and the other neighbours next door to the accuser had told the council lady that the accuser was crazy and that they could see into my garden and it never had poo. Apparently everyone in their row has had issues with her.

The council lady went back round to the neighbour and told her to stop wasting council time and that she could clearly see my garden was clean and that it was a false allegation.

My husband saw the neighbour spraying stuff over the fence STANDING ON A LADDER. He went out and told her to go away, and that we had CCTV.

I called the police today and they said someone would call me back as I am really worried about my dogs. We're actually looking at moving now cause of it. We keep a tidy home, we don't have parties, our dogs are both very well mannered quiet dogs who don't bother anyone.

I cannot understand why she has launched this attack on us! Is it a mental issue? The council said she'd phoned them 20 times and the first time they'd told her if we owned our house there was nothing they could do but after 20 calls they decided to come out.

I spoke to this lady 2 months ago and she was absolutely fine, I took her flowers round 2 years ago when her husband passed away and I drove her to an appointment a few months after that. Why has she suddenly decided she despises us?!

Appa❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

He's 1!! I can't believe it, he's still as cheeky and full of fun and is so unbelievably devoted to his mumma. Will follow me everywhere and never leaves my side. Very protective and such a loving soul.

I love akitas, they really are the best of breeds!

Lichen and the rest.

Hi, I'm looking for some advice/guidance anything.

Of course if you see my past posts you'll know I'm under investigation for suspicious lesions on my vulva and perineum.

I've lost around 5 stone in a year (I mean it certainly isn't a sad loss as I was tubby) however, at no point did I intentionally lose it, my husband said he'd noticed me "eating like a little bird" or "picking at my food" but I don't recall losing my appetite, I think it's been a steady decline in intake.

Over the 2/3 weeks I have been crippled with groin pain. I would describe it as the most intense period cramps but nowhere near where they normally are.

It feels as if someone is grabbing me at my groin and twisting in such a strong grip. It can be bad enough where I almost pass out.

They are sporadic and will strike at any point causing me to have to stop what I'm doing. Sitting down doesn't help as it puts pressure on the area and causes more pain.

The area is tender to touch and has a very swollen feeling.

I have never in my 30 years experienced anything like it. It hurts to the point of tears and I take A LOT of medication for my lichen and my pain management but they don't so much as make a dent in it.

Does anyone have any idea whats caused it or how to resolve it? I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow to discuss things. I've tried to use hot compresses and water bottles but it's currently 26 degrees in Scotland and for us that's absolutely insane and we are all towing the line between roasting and heat stroke so I believe if i used a hot water bottle I'd probably pass out.

My insurance

Hi there! I purchased insurance from 1st central last year on the 22nd of June 2025, today the 21st of June I logged in to double check I'm still insured till tomorrow (I've got OCD I panic) and it says valid 22/06/2025 00.00 till 21/06/2026 23.59!

So this means that my new car insurance will kick in at 00.00 of course?

However, I've still received my policy number from one click insurers however they have taken my money. It says it can take upto 24 hours but till I've got my policy number I'm not insured?!

I'm freaking out here💗

Lichen and biopsies...

I'm only 30, and have had lichen since I was 16.

Attended the hospital yesterday afternoon, met with my consultant. We discussed going on methotrexate and how my condition had progressed.

She then asked for me to come through to the examination room, and had a look at my vulva - advised she wanted to do an examination under GA, and said how they'd biopsy some of the areas during this and inject a super steroid into my perineum.

She then advised she could see an area that was "concerning" and that she wanted to me to come in for a biopsy under local anaesthetic on the 29th. I advised I didn't think I could do that given my history and fear of having injections to that area, but she wasn't deterred and advised me it had to be done asap.

So then after that the photographer came and took pictures of my lichen and then the consultant advised that I needed to have blood tests and a chest x-ray. No one told me why this was. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm feeling so unbelievably anxious about the biopsies, I find them so painful especially the injections and had a very bad experience with my last consultant who "forgot" to numb me and then cut me so deep it went through the nerves causing localised permanently.

Ive had 4 consultants between dermatology and gynaecology and finally have a great consultant who is kind and patient and really knows the condition.

I can't stop thinking about how worried my consultant looked seeing that area and wanting me back as soon as possible.

Threw my boy a 1st birthday party 🎊

I threw my Appa a birthday party for his 1st birthday. He got £50 in cards and loads of toys from his friends and a steak for dinner, he has been happy as can be!

Taking him to the pet shop tomorrow so he can pick some toys with his money.

He was so good with his friends and all his family visiting him and had some crazy zoomies around the garden. Even shared his new toys and treats.

Everyone thinks I'm mental but I can't have kids, and I've raised this boy since he was 7.5 weeks old and 6kg so I had to throw him a party and it was great. I'll be doing it every year now😂😂!

My Appa and his big sister Freya🌸

This is my 11 month old Appa the Akita and his big sister Freya the collie🩷🩷. Freya HATED Appa when we brought him home and we had to separate them constantly, but we worked so hard with a trainer and 9 months later they are inseparable because there really is a thin line between love + hate.

It only took them around 4 months to be tolerant and then by 6 months they were friendly and just in the last 2 months a love + understanding of each other seemed to blossom and now they are as close as can be and I am so proud!!

RE : Resource guarding

I don't know if anyone will remember or even care, but I'd posted about Mr Appa and his resource guarding.

WELL...he's great! We're officially over it, I got help from a behavioural expert who specialises in akitas and also done a lot of you guys suggestions.

I'm not stopping any of the tips, and will continue them going forward to make sure he stays great.

He's been an absolute wonder boy with it, and seemed to think it was normal to behave like that but as soon as I showed him it wasn't he just changed quickly into a good boy. There's no nastiness or being aggressive and he doesn't growl at anyone near his food now.

He's a wonderful dog, he's good with everyone and everything and is such a kind soul who really just wants to be loved and love back. I'm so proud of him and I am so lucky he's mine.

I'm so grateful so thank you all🩷🩷.

Hi everyone, managed to get my colonoscopy today and my prep was "good".

I had 12 biopsies and polyps removed! Had a terrible time with the prep but managed it obviously.

What my question is...

I only have one working nostril (broke my nose years ago). They put the O2 sponge in that nostril and omg it's killing me! My eye on the right side (same as that one) is watering non stop and I can't stop sneezing.

Is this common? No one's ever mentioned it to me and the last time I had a colonoscopy I didn't 😩😩

Thanks!

Hello! I'm (30F) and new here, I have CA on the skin around my 🍑 . I'm now dealing with a large amount of blood and clots so I've been referred for an urgent colonoscopy. This is my second one, got one last year after due to bleeding again but nowhere near as bad as this time - this time it's black tar and clots.

I AM struggling big time with the prep, I managed to do the dose 1 - spent 30 mins fighting the urge to projectile vomit and drunk my 500mls of water.

I am genuinely dreading dose 2 (6am tomorrow so 11 hours away).

Anyway, I've not actually eaten anything since the 3rd, I had some toast this morning but threw it up minutes later.

I do not think I will be able to keep dose 2 down. It's early in the morning, I'm already feeling awful due to my illness and treatment and I'm genuinely dreading this.

My last prep was the same as this one and I managed it fine, felt sick but then I was nowhere near as unwell as I am now.

Is there anything I can do? It's not this specific prep, it's the thought of it. The thought of drinking it makes my mouth water and not in a good way.

My skin is in a terrible state and this is before what's about to happen ☹️.
