New Kushaq mileage is genuinely breaking my wallet

Got the 1.5 MC DSG facelift and in traffic with speeds of avg 12-16km/h it’s giving me mileage of 6 kmpl, i keep hearing from Virtus owner friends that the mileage will improve once engine crosses 5k km or when 1st annual service is done but will it actually stay like this? My Q3 gives 7-8 in bumper to bumper traffic idk wtf is wrong with the car but this is seriously some shit mileage

Final year UG - CAT this year or next? Family business is the goal, MBA is my backup.

I’m in my final year of B.Com and I’m really confused about whether I should attempt CAT this year or wait until next year.
My long-term goal is to return to my family business, so an MBA isn’t something I need immediately. I see it more as a backup option and something that could still add value later.
I’m also open to taking the GMAT and pursuing an MBA abroad a few years down the line if I gain some work experience. So I’m trying to figure out the smartest path instead of rushing into one exam.
The other thing I’m confused about is preparation.
Finances aren’t really a constraint, so I can afford a ₹40-50k coaching course. But psychologically, paying that much creates pressure. I’ll constantly feel like I have to justify the money by scoring well. If I don’t, it’ll feel like I wasted ₹50k, and that mental burden might actually hurt my preparation.
So I’m considering preparing entirely from free YouTube resources instead.
A few questions for people who’ve been through this:
Should I give CAT this year with whatever preparation I can manage, or wait a year and prepare more seriously?
Since I’m also considering the GMAT and possibly an MBA abroad in 3-4 years, would it make more sense to focus on that instead?
Has anyone here scored 98-99+ percentile in CAT using only YouTube and free resources?
Is offline coaching actually worth it, or is online/self-study enough if you’re disciplined?
If you were in my position (family business first, MBA as a backup), what would you do?
I’d really appreciate honest experiences rather than coaching marketing. Thanks!

What’s this noise it’s driving me crazy

Coming from B pillar, sounds like it’s the rubber beading squeaking. I sent it to Škoda they lubricated it and it led to absolutely no results.
Sick and tired of these things ruining the otherwise perfect driving experience

2 cylinder mode icon?

New Kushaq owners with 1.5 engine, can yall see if the 2 cylinder mode is active or not? I can only see it in the regular cluster mode where speed and Rpm have seperate dials, and in the centre it shows 2 cylinder mode active, for that to show you can only have the range or economy display in centre not smth else like navigation or overview.
In older models of Kushaq Slavia Virtus etc a blue eco icon comes on at the bottom of the cluster, i really wish they gave it.
I really love the single sport tacho in the new cluster but it doesn’t show the 2 cylinder mode active or not ?
Any work arounds to this?

Potential to be a scam or legit?

Been talking to Pahadi squad on Instagram for spiti properties and car rentals. They seem legit to talk to but are asking for advance money online , and have v less followers on Instagram. Is there any way to verify how legit they are or aren’t? Since I’ve had bad experiences in the past where people don’t pick up phones after reaching property or taking advance money.
How to verify!

Door squeak

My car is 1k km old, almost a month
I’m getting some muffled squeaky creaking sound from the drivers side door, probably door pad or b pillar, happens at low speeds especially on rough roads
Any idea ?

▲ 188 r/CarsIndia

Parted with my City CVT 1.5 just this week. 9.5 years of ownership and 88k kms, safe to say my other cars have given up on me at some occasions and left me stranded but this workhorse even with no tyre changes for 50k +km, and a host of other end of life problems has never left me stranded.
The engine power dropped quite a bit by the end to the point where i was struggling for overtakes, but man oh man they don’t Make NA engines like this anymore, with the redline screaming for mercy at 7k rpm.
Later on de chromed the entire car and put on 180W headlamps and a little lip spoiler.
Just wanted to post this car here now that it’s gone.
AMA about ownership
