Convince me
I’ve been wanting the oura since the 5 came out but I have not been completely sold on it for the price yet. I’m 20y/o female. What are your favorite parts of having one? Do you have any regrets?

Anyone know the rent for 1 bed 1 bath at koval house on university?
Confused (first cycle with natural cycles)
I did ovulation tests every day as you can see on the top bar and they were all negative…? Could I have just missed the window somehow with the tests? Also does day 21 for ovulation seem correct? Please lmk thank you!!!
I’ve been struggling recently to feel beautiful in my own skin. I found myself trying less in my outfits, styling hair, doing makeup, etc.. I’m wondering if anyone has some good tips or regimens that they do that have enhanced their natural beauty. one of my biggest things is that I have the fairest skin possible, like genuinely paperwhite. Self tan can boost my confidence, but I hate the upkeep and when it fades it looks so bad so I’m trying to love my natural skin more.
I can just feel my confidence going downhill this summer TBH and looking for some advice.
I am looking into starting a low dose birth control. I have been struggling to find what is best for my body. I was on the nuva ring and then stopped due to extreme PPMD when taking the ring out. Skipping my period didn't work for me.
Also, my grandmother had stage 4 breast cancer which was estrogen fed. My aunt is not allowed to be on birth control with estrogen, progesterone only. My mother had a recent lumpectomy which was non cancerous, but she is not allowed to be on estrogen. So why am I on a birth control with estrogen? My doctor says that there are studies that say there are no links with breast cancer and being on estrogen birth control. Then why are my family members getting the opposite advice?
I considered the copper iud for awhile or another iud but the fact that bacterial vaginosis is "very common" turns me off from an iud completely. And the idea of something being inside of me and causing other issues like embedding etc causes some anxiety.
So then you have condoms or period tracking. Well I hate condoms. And I am too young and not in the place for a child to be relying only on cycle tracking and pulling out.
So then I have now circled back to hormonal birth control. Which is not what I want. But I am willing to give a low dose or progesterone only one a shot. I am going to gyno next week and want to have some options to talk about that I want. Please let me know your experiences. Anything will make me feel better thank you!!
I’m about a week out from the withdrawal bleed and two weeks out from removing the ring (nuva ring) and my nipples have BEEN HURTING SO BAD! Since like yesterday. Not the whole nipple but just the very tip. Have any other people experienced this? Also any other lovely side effects I should be looking forward to?? I have an appt later this month to discuss getting a copper iud.
Researching apartments for next year. Wondering if anyone has recs for 1 bed 1 bath apartments under 1500. Thanks!! 🤗
I have been on nuva ring for 5 years and want to see what I am like without synthetic hormones. I am 20F and since starting birth control, I have also grown through fundamental years, started antidepressants, started college, etc. A lot has happened and I feel like I don't know my true self! The main reason though is because I have terrible PPMD and feelings of psychosis about 48 hours after taking the ring out. If I skip the period, it is successful for about 2 periods and then my period will push through on the third. The sudden drop in hormones is the cause. I feel like my body all around is telling me no more hormones. Unfortunately I do have a bf of 3 years and we have tried condoms, but I absolutely hate them. Therefore, I have landed upon the copper IUD. If you guys can please share your experiences with everything about it: insertion, initial symptoms, period pain and bleeding however long after insertion, mental health, body changes, etc. Thank youuuu! Also, how have your experiences been with being okay having a gynecologist? I get nervous when thinking about how pap smears are coming up and feel very private.

I have been on hormonal bc for about 5 years and feel like my body needs a break from the synthetic hormones. I am a 20 y/o F and when I have my period week, I experience a very intense mental reaction from the drop in hormones. If I skip my period week, it works for a couple months and then my period will push through the bc on month 3. My doctor's only suggestion was to switch to another hormonal OCP which is what I do not want to do. I am currently in between getting a copper IUD or switching to barrier method alongside using the Oura Ring and Natural Cycles app as an added layer of protection/peace of mind. Has anyone had experiences with the Oura Ring and/or Natural Cycles app for their cycle and how have you felt about it?

I have heard the side effects from getting a copper iud are pretty brutal for the first few months, is it worth it?

The copper IUD seems the like the better option when it comes to avoiding pregnancy, but the side effects of increased bleeding and cramping doesn't sound very great. I would love to hear people's experiences with the copper IUD and how it has effected their body/cycle.
