Used 4090 for $2100?
Found a 4090 for 2100 USD on marketplace. Seller said he'd let me test before purchase. With 5080s having reached an absurd $1600, I thought I might as well spend extra for a 4090. Is this a good deal?

Managed to snag this 17 Pro Max with 100% battery health and 8 months of remaining warranty for $750 from Facebook marketplace just before the 18 pro got announced. And now I'm glad I did because apart from some ai features, slightly better camera and battery life upgrade, I don't see a major difference in these two phones. Not worth paying $1400 with tax for but that's just me.
Glad to have purchased this phone as it's giving me all day battery life and going onto the next half day. Check your local marketplace folks, I wouldn't wanna pay $800 + tax for an iphone 16 base💀
Only 20 days ago, I made a post about how the cheapest 5090 was to only be found over $4K USD at my local microcenter. And now, the cheapest one is $4700, basically $5k after tax. Cheapest one on PCPartPicker is $4929 before tax.
Seems like that rumor going around at the start of the year about how 5090s will hit 5k (they were around 3k at the time) has come true....
Cheapest one before tax at any retailer brand new is now officially over $4k USD (Microcenter being the one shown here). My $2700 astral purchase in January doesn't seem so bad anymore.....
Decided to do a back connect motherboard build as I've always wanted to have a clean looking PC with no cables. Turned out better than I expected. Only gripe is not having a hidden cable for the GPU but it is what it is.

So I can potentially buy an iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB with 100% battery health from fb marketplace for $750 USD and I currently I have a 16 Pro Max 256GB with 89% battery health that I can sell for $650-$700 if I'm patient. Should I pull the trigger? I think I'd appreciate the extended battery life, the 12gb of ram and it being a cooler phone overall with the aluminum and vapor chamber.
My System: RTX 5090, 7900X, 64GB CL30.
I've been playing cyberpunk with the ultra plus mod for path tracing recently while using dlss performance and 2x fg at 4k and I've observed that my GPU utilization sits at around 88-92%.
Will getting an X3D CPU help me reach 100% utilization?
I use DLSS performance in a decent amount of games as it looks pretty similar to native in my eye and I enjoy the fps boost.
