22F ,Looking for something genuine -Mumbai/Navi Mumbai

Hi, 22F from Mumbai, currently pursuing MBA, and putting myself out here with a little hope and a little luck. :)

I’m looking for a serious relationship with the intention of eventually getting married. I’m not really interested in the whole “let’s see where this goes” situation. If I’m getting to know someone romantically, I’d like it to be with genuine intentions and see whether our values, personalities and long-term goals align. Ideally, I’d like to settle down in the next 3–4 years.

Looks and physical attraction obviously matter in a relationship, but I’m looking for someone who can see beyond just those things someone who values compatibility, loyalty, communication, respect, emotional connection and genuinely liking each other as people.

I’d love to meet a decent, emotionally mature guy who is actually serious about relationships and willing to give things a fair chance rather than rushing into physical intimacy or judging everything based on appearances.

Also, my birthday is coming up soon, so a small part of me is hoping that maybe I’ll meet someone special before then and get to celebrate it with someone who genuinely wants to be there. 😅 Maybe I’m being optimistic, but putting my luck out here anyway.

A little about me:

• MBA student

• I love movies and series

• Music is a big part of my life

• I enjoy sports and used to play badminton, basketball and cricket

• I’m a huge cricket fan both men’s and women’s cricket

• Planning to join a gym soon

• I’m pretty ambitious about my career and life

I’m specifically looking for someone from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai or nearby, preferably around my age (roughly 22–26). Long-distance probably won’t work for me, so people from far-away cities, please don’t take it personally if I don’t respond.

And if I don’t reply, it probably just means I didn’t feel we’d be a good fit or didn’t know how to continue the conversation. No offense intended.

If you’re also looking for something serious, respectful and eventually leading towards marriage, feel free to introduce yourself. Tell me a little about yourself rather than just sending “hey”. :)

Let’s see if Reddit can surprise me this time.

One thing I forgot to mention: I am planning to settle in Mumbai so that's a priority. And someone who's comfortable in living separately from either parents and can build a home with partner.

Looking for advice to land my first marketing job as an MBA fresher

Location - Mumbai

Hi everyone! I’m 22F and currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing. I’m a fresher and looking to land my first full-time marketing role after my MBA.

I’d really appreciate advice from people already working in marketing or recruiters on:

\\\* What changes should I make to my resume to make it stronger and ATS-friendly?

\\\* Which skills/tools should I learn as a marketing fresher?

\\\* Which marketing roles should I target as a fresher?

\\\* What kind of projects/certifications would actually add value to my profile?

\\\* How can I make my LinkedIn profile stronger?

\\\* When should I start applying seriously, and where should I apply?

\\\*Any tips for getting shortlisted/interviewing as an MBA marketing fresher?

I’m willing to put in the work and build my profile, but I’m a little confused about what exactly I should prioritize right now.

If anyone is willing to look at my resume and give me honest feedback on what I should change/add/remove, I’d really appreciate it.

Any advice, resources, or personal experiences would be super helpful. Thank you! 🙌

22F | MBA Student | Mumbai | Looking for a Serious Relationship That Leads to Marriage

Apologies for the long post... I know it's a bit of a read. I just wanted to be upfront about myself and what I'm looking for. If our values and long-term goals align, feel free to reach out. :)

P.S. I'm posting this from a throwaway account because I'd previously posted from my main Reddit account, which I still actively use in another subreddit. Just wanted to keep this separate for privacy.

Hi! I'm a 22-year-old (turning 23 soon) currently pursuing my MBA in Marketing in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Originally, I'm from Uttar Pradesh, and I completed my bachelor's degree in Greater Noida.

Music is my comfort zone it helps me unwind and brings me peace whenever life gets stressful. I also enjoy playing badminton, basketball, and cricket just for fun, and I'm a huge cricket fan who follows both the men's and women's game.

Career-wise, I hope to build my career in Mumbai after my MBA and eventually make this city my permanent home. That's a dream I've been working towards for a long time.

Personality-wise, I'm more of an introvert who values meaningful connections over casual conversations. That said, I love exploring cafés, trying new places, going on little adventures, and making memories with the right person.

I'm here with genuine intentions. I'm looking for a relationship that grows naturally and, if we're truly compatible, leads to marriage in the next 3–4 years.

About Me

Age: 22 (turning 23 soon)

Height: 5'2"–5'3"

Religion: Hindu

Caste: Baniya

Location: Navi Mumbai

Career Goal: Build my life and career in Mumbai

What I'm Looking For

I'm looking for someone who is emotionally mature, kind, loyal, respectful, and genuinely interested in building a long-term relationship. Someone who communicates openly, values commitment, and believes love is shown through consistency, care, and mutual support.

Some things that matter a lot to me:

  1. Mutual respect, honesty, trust, and loyalty.

  2. Healthy, mature communication, especially during disagreements.

  3. Someone who accepts me for who I am instead of trying to change me.

  4. A partner who's fun to talk to someone with whom conversations flow naturally, whether we're discussing life, sharing random thoughts, or laughing over silly things.

  5. Someone affectionate and thoughtful who enjoys making their partner feel loved and appreciated. Genuine effort always means more to me than expensive gifts.

  6. Being each other's biggest emotional support through both good and difficult times.

  7. Supporting each other's personal and professional goals.

  8. Spending quality time together and continuing to grow as partners.

My Non-Negotiables

  1. Respect for personal boundaries and consent at all times.

  2. I don't want to be pressured into any form of physical or sexual intimacy.

  3. I personally believe in waiting until marriage for sex, so I'm looking for someone who genuinely respects that choice.

  4. I would never be comfortable sending or being asked for nudes or sexually explicit photos or videos.

  5. Privacy, trust, and mutual respect are extremely important to me.

  6. I'm looking for someone who is serious about building a stable, long-term relationship that can eventually lead to marriage.

  7. More than anything, I want a relationship where both of us feel emotionally safe, heard, respected, loved, and continue choosing each other every single day.

A tiny, wholesome detail about me: birthdays are really special to me. Thoughtful gestures, genuine effort, and making me feel loved on my birthday mean far more than expensive presents ever could.

Preferences

Age: 22–27

Height:Taller than 5'5"

Location: Preferably Mumbai, or someone who genuinely plans to settle in Mumbai in the near future, since I see my future here.

Religion/Community: I'm looking for someone from a Hindu background. I'm open to people from different Hindu communities (including Marathi, Gujarati, Jain, Punjabi, etc.) as long as our values and long-term goals align. I'm not looking for matches from Muslim or Buddhist backgrounds, or from SC/ST communities, as I don't believe we'd be the right fit for my family's and my expectations.

After marriage, I'd like us to have our own home and privacy as a couple. I'm completely okay with parents visiting or staying with us for some time, but I would prefer that we build our day-to-day married life independently.

If you're looking for something genuine, believe in commitment, and think we'd get along, feel free to send me a message. Please introduce yourself instead of just saying "Hi"- I'd love to know a little about you too. 😊
