Tongue tie

My baby was born with a tongue-tie (short lingual frenulum). At the time, our pediatricians were on the fence about whether we should have it released. More importantly, though, breastfeeding was going really well and the baby was gaining weight normally, so we ultimately decided not to go ahead with the procedure.
Now that my baby is 4.5 months old, we’re planning to see a pediatric surgeon at some point to assess whether the tongue-tie actually needs to be released.
The reason I’m a little worried about leaving it untreated is the possibility that it could cause speech problems later on. Since breastfeeding has gone really well, I’m not particularly concerned about feeding, but I’m wondering about speech as my baby gets older.
Is there anyone here whose baby had a tongue-tie that wasn’t released and is now old enough for you to know whether it caused any speech problems? I’d also really appreciate hearing any other experiences you’ve had with this.

CMPA

Is there anyone who dealt with CMPA during breastfeeding but despite abstaining from dairy and soy, the blood in the stool continues (a few drops) even after 5 weeks? Has it happened to you that it could be something else or did the stool take too long to clear up? Maybe it's a food that we don't know from the start that contains milk or soy, for example.
