My Daily Affirmation 😂😂😂

I painted a canvas and then distressed it. I made a “vase” out of polymer clay and then bedazzled it. Then I made a ton of flowers and leaves using hot glue and silicon molds. Most of the flowers I had to make one individual petal at a time. I attached the vase and flowers with hot glue. Then I attached a neon sign to the canvas using alien tape.

My Latest piece - Any System of a Down Fans?

I was swimming the other day with my sweet dog, Smushy Bear, and was inspired by this song to create this piece. If you know, you know. I drew a very stupid-looking elephant complete with drool and a red hat. I then bedazzled it. I cut out the lyrics I wanted and then bedazzled those. I painted the canvas in this fun pop art style. Then I added all of the elements on the canvas. I glued down the words, but added cardboard behind the elephant. I attached the elephant using alien tape. I put lights behind the elephant. #art #systemofadownfans #artist #bling #rhinestones

Disco Flowers

I made some flowers out of clay and then covered them in glitter. I had this pot laying around and decided to cover it in disco tiles. Then I added the centers to the flowers, which I made out of paper and bedazzled. The stems are pieces of wire beaded with silver seed beads. Finally, I added tiny disco balks around the base of the flowers.

Eye Scream!

I made this out of polymer clay, glitter, paint, and rhinestones. I shaped the hand using wire and foil., and then covered it in polymer clay. I painted the eye. Made the ice cream out of clay and bedazzled it. Then, I added glitter and sealed it. I used Gorilla Glue to attach the hand to the frame. I got the frame from goodwill.

My Latest Piece

I love this so much! I feel crazy and filled with rage living in this dystopian nightmare, but I’m still here and so are you! It’s a neon sign that I attached to a canvas I got at Goodwill. I painted the canvas green (it took like 47 coats 🤣). Then I drew the Bride of Frankenstein laughing maniacally. I covered her in rhinestones. I added cardboard to the back of her and then added red LED lights.

Cupcake Ornaments!

These are styrofoam cupcakes. I painted them and then piped them with decoden, which looks like icing. I added “sprinkles” by using seed beads and bugle beads. I made tiny plates out of polymer clay and painted those. I added eye pins to them so I could hang them up. They were easy to stick in while the decoden was still wet. When it all dried, I removed them, added glue, and stuck them back in so they would be secure. I covered them with a glossy glaze. Then I strung beads and attached them to the ornaments with jump rings.

Disco snail!

I made the snail body out of polymer clay. Made the antenna out of beads. The shell is a disco ball that I added more rhinestones too. The flowers I made out of polymer clay and beaded the star. And the center of the flowers are buttons. I bedazzled the snail body and the perimeter of the frame. I attached the snail and flowers to the frame using Alien Tape.

Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em

I had this cardboard tube laying around for as long time. I keep things thinking I will make something out of it and I did! I painted it tan and white and tore up the end and painted that in black and browns to look like the cherry. I painted a wooden frame red that I got at Michael’s. Then I bedazzled everything. The smoke is just polyfill attached to cardboard that I cut out. The final part was adding led lights!

Here is what you get when you mix a neon light with disco tiles and rhinestones.

I bought a canvas at Goodwill and covered it in disco tiles. I cut a hole in it for the cord. Then, I painted the disco tiles with various shades of blue alcohol ink. I bedazzled the words and added them. The “frame” is just strips of paper I bedazzled and then glued onto the canvas. It sucks because when it’s lit up, it doesn’t photograph well. Trust me when I say it looks cool.

Happy Pride Month!

Happy Pride Month! I I found this wooden plaque at Goodwill and knew immediately what I wanted to make. I painted the rainbow and then made polymer clay flowers. I attached the flowers at the bottom. Then I bedazzled the words and the centers of the flowers.

Fly Me to the Moon

I made the moon out of craft foam. I added craters by pushing round objects into the foam. Then, I painted it and started bedazzling. I chose AB rhinestones for the background because I wanted it to look like a colorful galaxy. I added silver beads of varying sizes for the stars. Then I drew the face and bedazzled it. I added lights to the back of the moon before I attached it to the frame.

Pibble Picasso - My Latest Piece

I reimagined my sweet, sweet baby in this crazy drawing and then covered it in rhinestones. I added lights to the back so it would reflect off the rhinestones in the background.

Disco/Rhinestone Fake Cake

I love how this turned out! It I took a fake cake and covered it in disco tiles. Then I piped the top and bottom borders using decoden. I bedazzled a bead to look like a disco cherry and added silver seed beads and stainless steel leaves. Then I added “sprinkle” which were glass beads and metal beads. I added some rhinestones as “sprinkles as well.

Thrifted Clock - Upcycled

So, I bought this little beat up clock at Goodwill. I painted it and then started applying rhinestones. I made flowers and bees out of polymer clay. Some of the bees I attached to copper wire so it looked like they were “flying.” I think it’s so cute!

Fake Cake - Rhinestone Edition

I got a tiny cake stand from Walmart and painted it white.

The “cake” is made of foam and is 4” in diameter. I painted it light purple and then covered the top and sides with rhinestones.

The “icing” is spackle mixed with white paint. I piped that on the top and bottom borders. When it dried I added seed and bugle beads to look like sprinkles.

I added flower beads to the edge of the cake stand and put a rhinestone in the center of each flower.

Then I gave it a clear coat and I was done!
