a sense of final comfort before the approaching hell...

Still WIP, but closer to the final vision. The shadows really do make the image more atmospheric, as I've noticed

trying to capture that specific "dirty" atmosphere of psychological horror

There was also PSX dithering, but if I turn it on, the video compression distorts the image.
