The Batman Part 2 is in shambles!
Robert Pattinson and The Batman Part 2 co-star Sebastian Stan were found having sex on the batmobile so hard that it was wrecked, Director Matt Reeves is furious and wishes to leave the project. The film may face cancellation!!
What is the hate surrounding the merger? It seems to be the best choice easily
Here's why I think so
Robert Pattinson is quite frankly the hottest actor right now, everyone everywhere is admiring his exceptional run of films and his performances. Why wouldn't you want such a big name attached to your franchise?
Can't deny that David and Robert have both embodied possibly the most definitive versions of their characters, or atleast have the best opportunity to do so
The DCU thrives off its tonal differences from project to project, if you see Guy Gardner in Superman, you'd think something like Kyle Chandler's Hal Jordan couldn't exist in the same universe, but it does! And that's the best part about the DCU! The similarities, the parallels and even the differences between Battinson and Corensupes is the exact dynamic you'd want to see in a world's finest film
The Batman is easily the best CBM of this decade thus far, maybe even a top 5 CBM of all time if you ask me, everything about the film and it's spin off the penguin, their success, is not something you want to separate yourself from, rather attaching the DCU to it will be an exponential boost, bringing in characters like Blue Beetle from the DCEU isn't even a fraction of what the merger with Battinson could do for the DCU and everyone knows that
Matt Reeves has a vision for the batman, and it must be respected, no doubt about it, he should and will complete his trilogy the way he wants, afterwards for other projects, Sam Raimi or James Mangold can take over the helm for Batman in the DCU, if Matt wishes not to continue.
It can fit in perfectly, get this- Superman is set in 2025 and it states that Superman started out 3 years ago in 2022, that's the same year The Batman is set in. Many sources indicate that The Batman Part 2 will pick up right where Penguin ended, if Matt wishes, he could conclude his plans for a trilogy will before 2025 in the DCU timeline, no conflicts with Superman's timeline and setting, and by the time 2026 rolls around for Battinson, he'd be much more experienced and "DCU ready" than what we saw of him in The Batman 2022
Decoding Matt's tweets (reading too much into them)
This may be ridiculous, but since the photo of the clock timed 8:12 turned out to coincidentally hint at the new release date, 18.2.28, I have decided to share my theories of the casting tweets
Scarlett Johansson - Next exit indicates this is a character who wasn't in Gotham up until now/is returning after a long time- adding up with initial claims about "doing a villain that's never really been done" I think this may be Phantasm
Sebastian Stan- Gotham state of mind honestly could be Harvey Dent or Victor Zsasz. The only reason why I believe it's Harvey Dent is A. There's no way you're casting Sebastian Stan in your movie while also looking for Two Face but not giving him that role. B. Christopher Dent might be played by Charles Dance
Charles Dance- convinced he's Harvey's father, and also "out of the shadows" is definitely not a coincidence, he's going to be a member of the court of owls, possibly their leader
Sebastian Koch- I do think he could be Harvey Bullock, locked and loaded suggests a cop role
Brian Tyree Henry- Welcome to the party really suggests that his character is one that joins the court of owls (no I am not insane), but at the same time, the leaked set images seem to indicate his stunt double is Jim Gordon's partner(Harvey Bullock), It could be that he's Harvey Dent but why would a DA carry a gun- could be that he's playing a version of Bullock who has recently shifted to Gotham, hence the welcoming, and that he's wearing a suit and tie as compared to Jim's police jacket. In which case, maybe Koch is playing a Talon?
This is where I'm at, let me know what y'all think!
This genius went to "collect" Daeron and left without his dragon
The fact that this instance of immense stupidity has flown under the radar because of the sheer amount of stupidity in this show is staggering
