Napa wineries serving lunch
Are there any wineries in Napa or south that serve lunch? I’m not talking just a charcuterie!! Hoping to find one and also where you can sit outside.

Hello Group! We have a group of six and have time for two wineries (preferably with a view - and preferably the winery has bubbles since my wife prefers bubbles over white or red wine).
Everybody else in the group though likes white, but mostly red.
We’d also like a recommendation for a casual spot for lunch where we can sit outside and get a sandwich, salad, and have a beer and cocktails.
Right now I’m thinking of going to Domaine Carneros then Artesa and then Wilfred‘s for lunch. We will do the first winery at 11 AM then the second one then lunch. But we’ll probably do winery, lunch then winery? I’m probably overthinking it but what do you all think?
We will be there on a Friday. This October.
Good afternoon everyone! My wife and I are excited, not only to take our first cruise, but we are using Regent and going to Alaska! We leave end of August and will be on the 7 day cruise
Here are the excursions we have signed up for. My wife and I are in our early 60s and very fit and active.
Klawock (whale and wildlife cruise)
Juneau (dog sledding on Mendenhall Glacier via helicopter)
Skagway (trail hike and float adventure)
Icy Strait Point (kayak adventure)
Cruising Hubbard Glacier (small boat excursion for whale watching)
Anyway, in Skagway, we are thinking of swapping out the trail hike and float adventure and doing one of the train rides - the choices are a) scenic rail and Yukon suspension bridge, b) VIP White pass scenic railway, c) White Pass scenic railroad. Thoughts?
And when on the train when it says you have to clear customs because you’re entering Canada is that a big deal? Obviously we will have our passport, but does it take a lot of time?
I would love to hear from anyone that has done any of the above excursions.
Are any of the excursions like hiking or kayaking or canoeing something where you’re outside the entire time ever canceled because of rain? I mean if it’s a downpour, do they cancel it or do you just forge ahead?
We will be departing from Vancouver end of August. we’ve never been on a cruise before. When you get to the cruise terminal, we haven’t received anything from Regent yet telling us about this, but I’m sure we will, but will there will be tons of signs directing us on where to embark? Are there long lines to get on the ship? We have a concierge suite if that matters.
What are the tender boats like? I know there’s two ports we have to take a tender boat to and from. Are they crowded? Is there plenty of room? I ask because my wife gets a little claustrophobic.
And regarding alcohol, I know it’s all included, but does it include “top shelf” liquor? I guess certain high end wine they will charge you for but other than that It’s also included.
We are anxious, nervous, and excited! Like I said, we have never done a cruise before, and after a lot of research and being on this forum and some of the other social media forums, we have chosen Regent!
We already have our dinner reservations and all of our excursions picked. Just counting down the days!
We are going to do a packing rehearsal this weekend lol. Believe it or not when my wife and I went to Italy for three weeks we did carry on. We will be carrying on for this trip as well. Laundry will be a huge help.
We are both in our early 60s but very fit and active. We are doing a whale and wildlife cruise, dog sledding on the Mendenhall glacier via helicopter, Chilkoot trail hike and float adventure, icy straight point kayak adventure, and the Hubbard glacier and wilderness Explorer. Whew! If anybody did any of these, I’d love to hear about your experience.
Thank you all and have a great weekend.
