Where can you get a good old-fashioned portion of chips in Brum?

Nothing in a box the size of a mouse’s coffin. I don’t want fries. Proper chips in paper, with a couple of pickled onions if the budget allows.

Hi all,

I'm having my 9yo daughter for the day this Friday. I haven't seen her in a while, due to a really bad relationship/communication breakdown with her mother, so I have no idea of her current interests.

I have no idea what's she, or the typical 9yo girl, is into - so I was hoping for some fun suggestions to do.

I have spoken to her on the phone to ask what she would like to do...but she says "I don't care Dad, I just wanna see you." - which is both heartbreaking...and useless lol

I'm no skinflint, but I'm not looking for anything over-the-top, like racing F1 cars, or hot-air ballooning.
