I’m trying to report a business that’s using a virtual office. I wouldn’t normally care but it’s in the service industry and it’s posted in a different state. It’s been scamming hundreds of consumers. Any advice on how to properly contact someone. Reporting on Google Maps isn’t working.
If a company is lying about its location using a virtual office, the employees are using fake names, and looking over the reviews they are looking fake, but Google leaves them up so I can’t imagine it’s all fake just there’s a good amount of fake looking reviews. But the service is real …. Does that mean it’s a scam ?
I’m worried because after doing some homework I’ve learned the moving company I signed up with has a lot of shady back end info. I learned they aren’t actually located at the place on the paperwork - it’s a digital office. When I did my sales call I took a screenshot searched the person picture online and sales person who signed me up is using a fake name. It’s not like a sam instead of Samuel, it was a whole other name. I found mugshots about them so that’s where I’m starting to get concerned. I saw some people saying the reviews are fake when I looked it over they seem very fake. But they were a moving company and when I searched the DOT # they are a real company … what do you think ? What would you do ? How would you warn others ?
