Hi, everybody. I'm sorry I don't normally post here, but I wanted to share information for the GALACTIC SYMPHONY World Premiere Concert, featuring the original score from the prequels (Episodes 1-3) among others, including the world premiere performances from The Ninth Jedi.

I am a member of the chorus (Soprano) with the Film Score Philharmonic Orchestra, and we will be performing a couple songs in the very same hall in which the soundtrack was recorded. The head of our orchestra is Nobuko Toda, one of the official composers along with Kazuma Jinnouchi.

I know there's probably not many people currently or will be in Japan during this time, but I at least wanted to at least share the information for anyone who might be interested or just curious about the event.

This will be my 9th time performing with this orchestra, and we actually just had a concert at Tokyo Opera City this past Saturday, featuring classical pieces that became famous or recognizable from various movies. The chorus performed Verdi's "Dies Irae", Sibelius's "Finlandia", and Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance". I helped out with the English pronunciation for the latter piece. <3

On the way home from work yesterday, I stopped by Kokusai Tenjijo Station to grab a couple photos of the advertisement banner, which will be on display until Sunday (the Summer Comic Market is this weekend).

It’s not exactly in the best location in the station, though because it’s in the corner, facing the same direction as the exit, so when you arrive at and exit the station, you have to turn around/look back to see it. But it’s good there’s an ad at all! Last December, they had a pretty large billboard in the station, advertising Cour 1 just before Winter Comic Market (I was there for the Granblue Fes and got a photo of it!).

Yesterday was Gai’s birthday, so I whipped up a quick drawing. It's not very good, especially compared to all the other great birthday illustrations out there for him, but I had fun making it anyway! I messed up his teeth though so I tried to hide it a little. lol I might try to fix it and add additional details later.

I’ve updated both of these images, fixing some silly goofs and nuance. This includes both Class S "Samurai" and Class Y "Youja" character profiles. It's pretty entertaining. lol

One thing of note regarding the class names… these basically refer to homeroom, in which an entire year of students is split into multiple homerooms. I think it’s pretty typical in other Western countries as well, but at least in my personal experience, we often only referred to each individual class by the year and the “group”, the latter would usually be represented by an alphabet letter or number, (ie. number+alphabet: 1-A, 2-C, 3-B; number+number: 1-3, 2-2, 3-4). I’ve worked directly with both styles in my professional teaching life, but I think the latter was more common. (I specifically remember one year my 2-2 was especially difficult... hahaha)

The Troopers and the Ten Warriors flee the collapsing Youja Realm.
Upon returning to the Human World, however, they find their path blocked by Gomei, Shimei, and Gaimei—members of the Four Beast Warriors who have emerged from the Tendou Realm.

Gai and his allies struggle against the Four Beast Warriors, who have come to reclaim the Supreme Emperor armor, but suddenly, a voice speaks to Gai from out of nowhere...

During the episode, it was shown that the original soundtrack (BGM) will be released on Wednesday, November 25!

The official announcement can be found here.

It will be 3 discs that features a wealth of background music composed specifically for the series!

It also marks the first-ever CD release of "Okiraku Jodo e" (To Carefree Pure Land), an original song by "Rock Hara Tandai"—the idol unit from the Youja-kai (Demon World) featured in the show!

I went back to the Sunrise World location in Yokohama today to get another latte print of Ryo. This particular location doesn't have much actual merch; I believe the one in Ikebukuro is typically stocked with more stuff, blind trading items like pins and small acrylic stands.

Happy 25th Anniversary to SH1!

I went to the Cyber Connect2 30th Anniversary Exhibition and later Fan Event in Tokyo yesterday with several other FC members, so it was really nice to catch up and chat with everybody in person.

I bought a couple of the new goodies for .hack//Z.E.R.O. and finally got my last tapestry signed!

The page is mostly just an image gallery, so I'll try to write more and fill in the gaps later tomorrow.
