Just a quick head's up, SH1 (JP) is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this Sunday, June 28! Let's have fun and celebrate!!

This is the first preview for the 2nd season of the Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers anime with my English subs. This preview was first teased at the special screening on April 20. You can read my report from the event here.

The first two episodes of cour 2, Episodes 13 & 14, will be screened early at the special event later this Friday, so stay tuned for more info and details!

The 2nd cour is scheduled to air first on Tuesday, July 7, at 11:30pm (JST) on TOKYO MX.

An official manga adaption of Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers entitled “Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers: True Legend” Vol.1 will be released in mid-September!

With the second cour starting on July 7th, there's yet more exciting news for fans to enjoy! Sunrise has confirmed the release of an official manga adaption which will compile Episodes 1-12 from the first cour.

I recently translated and added English subtitles to the latest teaser for cour 2 of the new Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers anime series.

This trailer was first shown at the special screening of Episodes 9-12 on June 1st at Piccadilly in Shinjuku in which both Hiiro Ishibashi (Gai) and Takeshi Kusao (Ryo) made appearances for a fun talk event!
