2011 with 175k needs a good cleaning and I need someone to walk me through the process, so putting it out there.

Anyone in NNJ with experience planning on cleaning their EGR anytime soon? We can do together or if you have the time, teach me and be my guide. I have the tools. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and do all the work. I just need somebody with experience to help me with the more intricate bits. This car is my baby and I want to keep her rolling as long as I can, and this seems like the type of maintenance I can learn and do myself in the future.

In exchange I can happily buy lunch/dinner and few cases of beer, or give a reasonable chunk of cash. I also have a few guitars that I can barter

Hoping someone can direct me in this.

I have a 2011 Prius with 175k on it. To my knowledge the EGR has never been cleaned. (I bought it at 70k) My gas mileage has remained pretty consistent at 38 mpj. I had to get a new hybrid battery about 3 years ago from Green Bean. And it's now up to 42mpg.

​

I did get 100,000 mile checkup + spark plugs, James fluids replaced etc. But EGR I was not touched. I'm wondering if I'm losing something by not doing this. I'm hoping to take it on myself but only if it's necessary. I to say it looks relatively easy with a bunch of videos I've watched on YouTube.

I love this car and I want it to last forever. I have an OBD reader at Dr. Prius.

Any advice, direction, experience you can give me as much appreciated

Whenever I try to log into the mobile app lately I get a screen to sign in and then a prompt to check messages to allow access.

​

Is this new? I've only noticed it in the last 2 weeks.

​

And I should add that whenever I allow access via the text message, I can never get back to the app. It always requires me to receive the text /deny my log in.

Any ideas on this new feature/flaw

Hey all,

I'm new to this - about 8 months in, and I noticed my grains are no longer increasing and the F2 with ginger and in season fruit -currently ginger peach is flat.

​

I brew my F1 in 5liter batches with 30g grains. I use filtered tap water and 1 cup/ 210g of brown sugar. I store the F1 glass on a counter in the kitchen that doesn't get much light, but abutts the back of my fridge, but the temperature of the water kefir remains consistent with the cooling and heating of my home- between 70° and 76°

I also F1 for 7-14 days depending on my schedule and supply. I live alone and drink 1 L every 3 days.

After 2 cycles of this I am starting to get discouraged.

​

Any feedback as to what I need to do differently is most appreciated !

After optimum's cable wired gateway5 lost its ability to provide a working 5g and 2.4g experience for the 3rd time this year, I am seeking recommendations to bring the equipment in house.
