Guys I've seen it all... this guys not well up there

One of my store managers who I kid you not named his first born Tim and had "AppleEmployee" on his custom license plate today told me he took pride in having 3 call outs in over 13 years working for the company. This is the same guy who quite literally RUNS to customers to get his approach tactics working and being recognized by the store.

How are people escaping to leaves for so long.

My store pretty big we have so many people on leave and for example we have this one guy he is an expert and he goes on Leave for about 8 months at a time, and I kid you not you'll see him one day and than boom not for another year. And on his instagram hes travelling the world probably at his other job, meanwhile were being slaved for all the metrics.

We have another guy still in the system and hes been on leave since 2019, a girl whose been on leave for 2 years. How is this even fair? And how can i do it.

What is going on 11 years of my experience means nothing.

Today as i'm at work my entire management started shadowing most of the tenured staff, it felt absolutely surreal having worked here for more than a decade and I have a new shark manager on my back listening to every word making sure I bring up every single metric to the customer and than when I did help everything the customer asked, my manager asked why I didnt demo airpods. I'm done, i cant do this anymore guys, how can i take a long extended leave

Today my new coach had a 20 minute “documented” conversation with me because I didn’t scan CONNECT & Personalize

It’s almost like the company has turned upside down on its head. I work at a large store in Canada and today my soulless Manager had the audacity to pull me aside because I didn’t scan connect personalized for a return. As any normal employee, I scanned the actual receipt. The customer handed me and he had the audacity to say why didn’t you start with connecting personalize? It would’ve made interaction smoother. I can’t work here anymore. I’m losing my mind every second I’ve given my entire 20s to this place and I feel like I’ve lost my life. 11 long years of my life.

28M feel stuck with my Partial tear

Anyone else feel mentally stuck months after a grade 2 partial ACL tear?

I’m about 8 months post injury with no meniscus damage and no real instability/buckling, but my knee still aches and gets sore pretty often. Some days it feels almost normal, other days it feels stiff, weak, or just “off,” especially after activity or lifting.

I still weight lift regularly 5 days a week but I haven’t done physio consistently in probably 6 months, so I’m wondering if that’s a huge reason why I still don’t feel right.

Has anyone else dealt with lingering aches/pain this far out without instability? Does restarting rehab/physio actually help, or did it just take a lot more time than expected for the knee to feel normal again?

▲ 2 r/ACL

Been hitting the gym consistently but have only done 9 physio sessions, whats my likeliness to have a full tear if I return to play. I do get some soreness and pain here and there however my main fear is a full tear and want to avoid that at all costs! Any advice helps :)

In February, I was fined $700 by InterRent for leaving boxes in front of my apartment and not disposing of them. I argued and let them know it was for only a few minutes but the super sneakingly took photos and ratted me out to head office, after multiple letters in the mail threatening us to pay my mother paid the fine because she was concerned that the company would pursue legal action as they wrote they would in the letters. I had always disposed of all the boxes and only left them there for less than 20 minutes. I have a torn ACL and navigating the apartment is difficult during the winter due to their construction. I am seeking to have the fine refunded, as it appears excessive and InterRent is a large corporation. What can I do?

Hey everyone,

On November 16, I was eating in my room when I noticed a single female bed bug walking across my bed. I had just spent the night at a friend’s place, so I panicked right away.

My immediate reaction was extreme—I threw out everything: my bed, the frame, and all of my clothes. I then did a deep clean of the whole room, sprayed it with hot steam, and didn’t use the room for a full month.

Since then, I’ve never seen another bed bug, and I’ve already repurchased all new furniture and bedding.

Did I overreact? Or was it the right move? How lucky am I to have avoided a bigger infestation?

Curious to hear others’ experiences and advice!

6 months later never seen a single one
