Carfax says Dage reported but no details.

I'm in the market for a used Chevy EV. The car I'm looking at is a lease return after 2 years with 30k miles.

The car was serviced at the same dealership throughout the 2 years.

There is a "damage reported" item in the report but no details. How do I find what it might have been. Dealer doesn't want to show me actual records of all work done on the car. They say they have no idea what this damage was.

This is overview of the Carfax report:

3 months, 5.5k Electrical system checked.

6 months, 9.5k brakes checked.

7 months, 10.5k tire rotation.

8 months, damage reported. That's it, no other details, no mileage, no details about type of damage etc.

13 months, 17k power steering checked, tires rotated

15 months 19.5k left sun visor replaced

17 months 21.5k left sun visor replaced

24 months Lease ended vehicle offered for sale

24 months 29.5k AC compressor replacement, 2 tires replaced, 4 wheel alignment, cabin filter replaced.

Upgraded HH Concord daily ticket to Silver pass. Agent said it's valid until Jan at Discovery Kingdom

But now when I look at the website, it says Silver pass is only valid until Labor Day.
My wife and son went to HH Concord today and used the discounted friend tickets from others who had a pass. End of the day they upgraded, got a good deal $54 total each (including the $25 they paid + $29 upgrade fee). The agent told them that the pass is valid at Discovery Kingdom until Jan first week.
But the website says Silver passes are only valid until Labor day. So which one is it? And if it's until Labor day, then can I upgrade it to Gold over on the phone so we can go to fright fest and winter fest?

GM Financial 1 Month Extension - California DMV registration?

I have an EV lease that I want to extend for a month but California charges $600+ for 1 year of registration. Anyone here was successful extending their lease and only paying registration for that 1 month? From what I've read, DMV does not allow that. Any alternatives?

Looking to borrow/rent a road bike for a race at Transplant Games on June 21st

Hi Folks,

I'm participating in the Transplant Games in Denver which runs from June 18 to 23. The bicycle race events (5K and 20K) are on Sunday morning June 21st at Auraria Campus.

The local EVO doesn't have any left to rent. I'm hoping to find someone who would be willing to let me ride their road bike for those 2 events. I'm 6'1", 175 lbs and can ride a 58-60cm frame. I live in Sacramento, CA and I'm flying in to Denver. Personally I own a Scott Addict with SRAM Red groupset that I could bring with me in a bike box. But renting/borrowing for a day would be easier.

I'm willing to pay for the opportunity for me to ride your bike :). Thanks.

Taxes and Fees in California?

How much are the taxes and fees in California. I have T-Mobile right now but hardly use data (wifi at home and work), so I'm looking to switch to the Flexible plan. I have 4 voice lines and my taxes and fees are $6.49 per line per month. Just checking if Fi has similar taxes and fees? It used to be around $4.50 or so around 2 years ago.

I'm in the Sacramento, CA area.

I'm a US citizen. My dad is an Indian citizen. He's travelled to Canada multiple times before to meet his brothers and other family, but last time was in 2003.

His last Canadian visa was a 5 year visa that expired in 2014, he did not travel on that visa. He's been to the US multiple times since then, and to Europe, and a few other Asian countries. He always funds his own trips.

I want to go to Canada with him the next time he's in the US. Other than sightseeing, we will also be visiting his brother and nephew. I'll be filling out his visa application, should I say reason for visit is tourism or should I say meeting with relatives. The thing is that he doesn't need any support from the relatives for the travel and we plan to live in hotels, not their homes. If I choose meeting with relatives, there is a page on the application that asks for all details of the relatives and their invitation. We don't have an invitation, we just want to go meet them.

I'm 48 now. When I retire at 55, I'll have a pension of USD 6K a month (with 4K a month going to my child after my death). Pension will be lower if I retire at an earlier age, around 2K a month at 50.

SSA at 62 will be around 2.5K a month.

I have other assets in the US - primary house, brokerage, 401k etc which isn't going to be too high. Close to 1M now, so I'm expecting maybe around 1.5M at 55.

Anyone else in a similar situation and returned to India after retirement and living off of the pension? Where are you living in India? Any hurdles you experienced receiving pension/ssa in US and moving a portion of the money to India every month? Any other gotchas to look out for?
