I’m honestly panicking right now and I don’t know what the hell I’m supposed to do 😭. My EAD card showed that it was produced, and after I got the USPS tracking number, I kept checking it constantly. I even requested for it to be delivered to my front door.

It was supposed to be delivered tonight, and earlier the tracking said “On the Way.” I waited all day for it, but I received all my other packages except my EAD card. And now, all of a sudden, the delivery date and all the tracking updates have disappeared, and when I try to check the USPS tracking page, it just says “Access Denied.”

I’m genuinely freaking out because I have no idea where my card is or what happened to it. I’ve been waiting for this card for so long, and now that it was finally supposed to arrive, this happens. I seriously don’t know what to do 😭

On July 28, 2026, I received an email from USCIS Premium Processing confirming that my I-765 was approved. The approval notice included my OPT validity dates (07/28/2026 – 07/27/2027).

I also received the SEVP Portal activation email confirming my OPT approval.

However, my USCIS online account still shows the old status:
"Premium Processing Clock Was Started"

I contacted the Premium Processing Unit, and they confirmed:

"Your case was approved on July 28, 2026, and your case is pending card production."

Now I am just waiting for the EAD card production and delivery.

For anyone who recently got approved:

• How long did it take after approval to see "Card Is Being Produced"?
• How long did it take to receive the physical EAD card?
• Did your USCIS portal also take time to update after approval?

Case Details:

• Service Center: Potomac Service Center
• Premium Processing: Yes (filed from the beginning)
• I-765 Filed: June 4, 2026
• I-907 Premium Processing Received: June 4, 2026
• Biometrics Appointment: June 26, 2026
• Premium Processing Clock Started: June 26, 2026
• Current Status: Still pending / no update
• RFE: No RFE received

USCIS Premium Processing timeline says 30 business days. Based on my calculation, my deadline should be August 7, 2026.

I am currently around 20 business days into PP and getting worried because my job start date depends on my EAD approval.
