I've just been quoted £79/two weeks for a resole of my 3141's by my local Timpson's franchise.
They send the boots out for this hence the turnaround.

I've been trying to have tracked packages redirected to my local post office in case I'm not home and I get a "sorry there's been an error" every time I try to set this up either via the app or the website.
Is there an optimum time in the tracking sequence to arrange this? I've been trying to do it as soon as the tracking is available and still no luck (I appreciate that same-day is unrealistic if the item is already out for delivery).

I'm sure I'm not alone in "tarting" myself around the pharmacies listed on monj.co.uk in order to take full advantage of new customer discounts ... but their requirement for an upfront payment before they've approved me is starting to get a bit annoying ...

I'm a bike race marshal in the UK and I'm just back from the season opening round of British Superbikes having lost 3 1/2 stone/22kg since I last saw most of my colleagues in orange in October.
Quite a few of them were: "Tim? Is it Tim?" and several completely blanked me at first!
I didn't think my face had changed that much, honestly!
(one of my friends there has lost 10st/63kg on the juice in a year, so I've got some catching up to do too, clearly ...)
Saw these and liked them. They’d been on the site for 2 years so I made a cheeky offer that I then cancelled as the seller ignored it. Made another that was declined then just went ahead at full asking. That was on the 21st.
Zero comms from the seller and tomorrow is the shipping deadline (or is that actually midnight tonight?)
Why are people like this? Are they so pissed off with my offers they just want to fuck me about?
