Officially registered as a monarch waystation

I officially registered my milkweed garden as a monarch waystation. I just wish there were more coneflowers. 2 are blooming nicely and the 3rd doesn’t have blooms this year. I planted a bunch of hybrids and natives both last year, and they all died. Any tips on germinating the seeds this year for the best success next year? When late fall comes, should I sprinkle the seeds in the mulch? South facing so it gets plenty of sun.

True Bloom roses by Altman. Is it normal for some of them to have no scent?

I planted the True Love back in May and it’s absolutely gorgeous. However, it has absolutely no scent. I know Altman roses focuses on disease prevention and hardiness, which I’ll take over scent. But is it normal for Altman roses to not have a scent or acquire a scent later on?

He gave me a sign ❤️

My soul cat passed away almost 2 months ago. Exactly 1 month since he passed, I saw my first monarch of the season, and she was laying eggs. Well last week, I went on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. While on my trip, I asked for a monarch in any way, shape, or form (excluding social media or the monarch merchandise in their gift shops). A few years prior, I remembered one of gift shops had a bunch of monarch items.

I was scared I wasn’t going to see one. I was asking chat gpt if monarchs were in the Grand Canyon in June and what milkweed looked like in that area. I was so focused on seeing a monarch. Anyway, my first full day there I rented a bike and rode it around to different viewpoints. I got to one of the viewpoints, and wasn’t going to walk over to a specific area, but I did. I then received my literal monarch sign lol. In addition, on my drive there I saw a sign for a town called Maxwell and on the drive back a car in front of me for quite a ways had Max in their license plate. His name is Max. If you’re open to receiving signs, they will send them ❤️

Receiving Signs

After losing my soul cat in April, I read the book Signs by Laura Jackson. I highly recommend it. Anyway, she explains how you can ask your loved ones for a specific sign, and they’ll send one to you, usually a color and an animal/object.

I thought of a red cat. He was a cat, and I associate the color red with him. However, I did not ask him to send me a red cat. I just thought of a red cat and thought that could be a specific sign I can ask for in the future, but not that at this moment. Well I just saw the movie Obsession. There were 2 red cats in the movie lol. I’m still debating whether it was a coincidence or not. I didn’t ask him to send it, I just thought that’ll be something I ask from him in the future, but not now. Could it have been a sign even though I didn’t directly ask for it? Anyone asked for a very specific sign from their passed pet and received it?

5th instars?

Photo taken yesterday. Do these guys look like they could be 5th instars? I saw mom lay them 5/23. I’ve been monitoring 7 of them. I counted 6 of them this morning, and 8 hours later every single one was gone. I have a patch of milkweed and the last 2 days they’ve been moving from plant to plant. I’m just hoping they left to make a chrysalis and something didn’t get all 7 of them.

Can 1 milkweed sustain 2 caterpillars?

There are currently 2 cats each, on the plants that I circled. Will the milkweeds be enough to sustain 2 or should I move them to a different plant, that way it’s only 1 cat per milkweed. They’re currently 3rd instars.

My milkweed garden

Milkweeds are booming this year. I’ve counted at least 6 caterpillars. Only 3 caterpillars made it to 5th instars last season (to my knowing). I’m hoping this year is more successful. The earwigs don’t seem to be as bad this year, and I’ve been clearing off the aphids to reduce ants.

Can loved ones and spirits on the otherwise “predict” the future?

My soul cat passed away exactly 1 month ago from tomorrow. I’ve been asking for signs from him. On Tuesday I asked for a very specific sign, a Baltimore oriole. I’ve only ever seen 1 in my life even though they live where I’m at. I thought this would be a good sign. Well, the next day or day after (can’t remember) a family member put out an oriole bird feeder. And today looking out my window, I see a female Baltimore oriole!

Now obviously the only reason I saw the oriole was because of the bird feeder. If that bird feeder wasn’t there, I would’ve never seen it. I could’ve said any kind of bird, but I specifically said an oriole, and then the bird feeder was put out. I’ve also heard stories about people asking for a specific sign, and then they see that sign in a movie or tv show that was released years ago. So my question is, from a mediums experience, are loved ones able to predict the future in a way?

What signs have you received after your pet passed?

My soul cat, Max, of almost 12 years passed exactly 4 weeks ago yesterday. A little over a week after he passed, the smoke alarm in my room starting chirping around 3am. I took the battery out not thinking anything of it and went back to bed. A few days later I checked the battery so see what kind it was so I could replace it, and it was an Enegizer Max battery.

A few days later I saw a video on FB that was taken by a drone of a gorgeous sunset, and the gladiator song “now we are free” was playing. The video was absolutely soothing and mesmerizing. The first comment I read was “how I imagine my soul traveling after leaving my body”. I immediately started crying and thought of Max. I had a strong urge to watch the gladiator movie. I’ve seen the 2nd one but never the 1st. I watched it that weekend and the main characters name is Maximus. In the final battle scene before he dies, the audience is throwing red flower petals into the arena. He then dies while “now we are free” plays in the background and he is reunited peacefully with his family who passed earlier in the movie. I planted a red rose bush on Max’s grave soon after he passed. I feel like these were signs from him. I would LOVE to hear what signs others received after their soul pets passed away ❤️

I lost my soul cat of 12 years last Thursday. His death was pretty tragic and unexpected, it hit me hard as I didn’t get to properly say goodbye 💔 I’ve been watching a bunch of afterlife/spiritual videos which have brought me some comfort. Yes, I know that there are scammers (I’m sure more often than not) and I’m VERY skeptical. So that’s why I’m asking, has anyone ever used an animal communicator before with positive feedback and have any personal recommendations? I enjoy Lori Cowen’s videos, but she doesn’t have a booking list and it’s randomized. Thanks in advance.

I’ll try and keep it short and simple. My 12 year old cat who I’ve had since high school unexpectedly and tragically died on Thursday evening (the day before my birthday). He came to me as a feral little kitten and grew into the sweetest loving cat. As cliche as it sounds, he was my soul mate. I’ve never had such a deep connection with any living being before (not even my significant other). He taught me and showed me what unconditional love was. I’ve told him countless of times that he was the best thing to happen to me. His age was starting to show. He had bad arthritis and was having neurological issues. Probably about mid March he wasn’t himself anymore and didn’t have the same personality. Although his time was coming sooner rather than later, it was tragic for it to happen the way it did. Knowing his last few moments were in pain and that he was probably scared absolutely kills me. It’s been 6 days, and my heart still physically hurts. Now I’m not the most religious or spiritual person, but I’ve been praying every night and asking for a sign from him that he’s okay and that’s he’s still out there somewhere, and that we’ll hopefully meet again. I go to bed every night hoping that I’ll see him in my dreams. I’ve never had any kind of supernatural experience when previous pets/family members have died, so my hopes aren’t high for this time around.

I really just need to know, what are your guy’s take on the afterlife? What proof made you realize that your loved ones are still out there and in a better place now? Not to sound sceptic, but a few years back I went on a historic downtown ghost/history tour. There were mediums there, and to be quite frankly they sounded kind of fake. Afterwards they were trying to get a reading from me and my friends, and nothing was true. It felt like they were just trying to pull our legs if that makes sense. I would love to hear your guy’s beliefs and proofs to change my mind. I’m hanging onto a sliver of hope that Max is out there pain free living life somewhere 💔 Thanks for reading
