Where’s the best place for potential newbies to get info?

I’m thinking of going and I’ve never been to a con ever. So I’m jumping straight into the fire. Is There a good place to get An into on how days go arrival departure etc where stuff is (no transportation so hoping to stay at host hotel if there something available) that I can look at as I take a look at my finances and work schedule?

cause if seems fun yet overwhelming

host asked for drivers license and number on sketchy form ABB support doesn’t care [US]

My family and I went for a short get together. the host seemed nice but one of the not hosted by AirBnB forms asked for among other things a photo of my drivers license and a separate field for my drivers license # (as requires fields to fill out the form) Which is a complete policy violation & also stupid to provide to a random person especially in a random nonsecured site. But we were already traveling so decided to ignore for now and report after we left. I tried to report it to AirBnb both through the chatbox and actually calling so hosts could be reminded don’t do that. the Person I talked to just said don’t give it…and that was it & the summary wasn’t what I said at all. so it was quite supportive./s heavy sigh.

edit: this was a violation of AirBnB’s policy. It wasn’t disclosed and it wasn’t me giving ABB my info it was a random site. that I don’t think was even https

do people actually remember their college entrance exam questions years later

I’ve been reading webnovels (in translation) for years and one of my favorite genres is rebirth…and a lot of turning points in modern ones involve the college entrance exam…people die and get the chance to retake it…and they always seem to remember the questions even decades later and I think it’s as unrealistic as rebirth…but recently I wondered “well, it is super important so maybe people remember questions because it’s that important”

so do you think people tend to remember their entrance exam questions?

How do you use mildliners/highlighters

I get a mildliner in my planner subscription box every few months. So I have a small collection…I never use them.
to me highlighters are for my Bible or textbooks. And I don’t color code my Bible so only need one…and I’m not in school.

There must be a reason why these are so popular in a planner/journal subscription box and I’m just not seeing it.

(And I gravitate towards stickers so that could be I’m not seeing it)

so how do you use highlighters in planners

What’s your favorite reimagining of P&P?

for me:

Movie: I love the musical Bride and Prejudice. I thought the choice of modern India made a logical sense. and it was just a lot of fun.

book: Pride and prejudice and zombies- movie wasn’t nearly as good. And I didn’t care for the others by same publisher later.

I watch Chinese dramas & read Chinese novels (in translation) and pretty much anytime a character has an allergy it’s to mango.

i was bc assuming that mango allergy must be like peanut allergies here (well known, kinda common & a favorite of script writers) but I figure i should ask.
