Modern movies are designed to be watched with subtitles

I don't exactly know when this happened to the sound design of films, but in this age it's extremely difficult to make out what is being said on screen. The ambient sounds and explosions completely drown the dialogue, along with actors practically mumbling/whispering to the point where nothing is comprehensible without accompanying subtitles to be able to make sense of the words they are saying. The breaking point for me was the Odyssey where for some reason every background sound was dialed up to 11, with some rare occasions which allowed actors to be understandable when not much in terms of action was happening.

Rocket belt feels terrible to build first

Having to build HP completely screws over your laning experience. I feel like storm surge is probably the best option as a first item now. It works great with pen boots as an early game spike, the movement speed is really nice too especially if you take the 2.5% ms rune. Then you can build into riftmaker second for the AH and tankiness and rabadons afterwards.

This sub is mages complaining about assassins and assassins complaining about mages

Every other post I see some mages player saying how bs it is that an assassin can pop you without any counterplay and roam for days farming their botlane, while assassin players complaint about not having kill pressure on mages because of bone plating, rod/seraph etc while they dish out damage/poke for free from infinite range. It's almost as if they fulfill specific niches and have different win cons.

edit: unless you complaining about zed, that mf both an assassin and a mage, hate him all day

Why is shen played top?

Why is this champ played top when his kit is designed to counter auto-attackers (ADCs) and has a supporting ult which is made for roaming. He seems like the perfect support but is more popular top. Heck, even mid seems better since you don't have to give up loads of cs to make plays around the map with your superior early game. He is very similar to galio for me and galio is played mid lane.

Showing weakness on vlad is why people struggle to play him

When vlad players lane into champs that are much stronger than him early, they tend to play to scale, which to the majority of players means playing back, playing defensively, playing reactively. This is the downfall for many people when they want to play vlad because as soon as you show your laner that they can push you around and play on their terms, you are in for a bad experience. Position yourself aggressively, walk up and zone with the threat they see of your empowered q, show them that you are a threat to them even if you are nothing more than a cannon minion. A bad trade for you is a good trade, so use that to your advantage. You should always be looking to snowball not scale, scaling is your plan B which gives you the safety of playing aggressively early.

edit: this is also true for matchups that outrange you, you should never be happy eating skill shots for free and trying to heal off the wave. Most ranged champs have to be stationary to cast skill shots, always be on one side of the wave, then walk directly towards them and expect it, while getting in range to hit your Q.
