Bio:

Whitney Kareholm was born to Steve and Cicelia Kareholm. Unfortunately, shortly after Cicelia passed away from intestinal cancer, and Steve did not believe he could handle a child and left her to an orphanage.

During her childhood, she was a timid, soft-speaking nerd-type who was always teased and bullied by the popular kids and received nothing more than apathy from the directors. As Whitney entered 10th grade, she began to notice that the weather seemed to contort around her emotions; once, it started sprinkling when she felt sad, and strong gusts of wind would blow on days when she was anxious. As it turned out, after she was given Cecelia’s old journal she learned that she was next in line of a group of weather controlling witches. Each witch passes their magic onto their daughter(s).

The other teenagers who lived at the orphanage decided to play a trick on Whitney once learning of her magic. They tricked her into accidentally setting the head director’s bedroom on fire, getting her in trouble. As everyone around her laughed and rest of the directors stood and did nothing, all the years of bullying and abuse finally took its toll, she lashed out, causing a terrible storm that burned down the orphanage. Whitney, shocked and horrified at what she had done and believing she had no one to return to, she ran away.

In the aftermath of the incident, Whitney had become a jaded, cynical loner. Taking on the name “Forecaster”, she embraced her weather-witch heritage and turned to thieving as she began to hone her abilities. Soon, Whitney was given an offer by a small group of mercenaries who had learned about the rumored “witch girl” who destroyed an orphanage.

Powers:

Magic: Forecaster’s witch heritage allows her to use all sorts of magic spells, mainly weather and element manipulation. Other spells include levitation, flight, telepathy, and telekinesis.

Thieving skills: spending quite some time on the streets, Forecaster developed several forms of thievery.

Name: Missile Man (Former/real identity: Randa Robinson)

Bio:

WW2 pilot Randa Robinson was friends with brilliant inventor and philanthropist Houston Crane, who had created the prototype for the world’s first robot - the “Missile Man”, as he called it due to a pair of rocket thrusters on its back. Unfortunately, Russian spies learned of this prototype and stole it with the intent to hand it to the Nazis. Randa proceeded to chase after them to take it back, and was successful, but at the cost of his own life.

Grief-stricken at the loss of his best friend, Crane converted his prototype robot into a life-sustaining metal suit for Randa to wear, simultaneously transferring his memories into his new metal body.

After learning of the Missile Man, Nazi and Russian spies ambushed Crane’s laboratory and took Randa hostage, attempting to study him to create their own invincible android soldiers. Randa escaped with planes on his tail, and refusing to let them win, shot himself down over the Northern Atlantic sea.

Many decades later, the Missile Man was found by the BSAF (Brainiacs Science and Anomaly Foundation), where they discovered that the icy waters had perfectly preserved his body and his brain, completely intact. In the modern day, he still serves as a superhero along with the current heroes of the day.

Name: Jersey Devil (true/former identity: Ross Bleaton)

Species: Cryptid-human hybrid

Bio:

Jersey Devil was once Ross Bleaton, a down-on-his-luck former zookeeper who used to work for a Newark zoo's farm section who had a particular fondness for goats. One day, he was approached by a conspiracy-hunting group who told him that they were searching for the infamous Jersey Devil cryptid. They offered to pay him if he joined, which he reluctantly took.

During the search later that night, Bleaton was skeptical about the conspiracy hunters when they hear one of their laser-guided traps go off. When Ross ran to inspect, he saw to his shock that the Jersey Devil was real. However, when he saw that the creature was hurt, he took pity and released it. The conspiracy hunters, NOT happy that Bleaton just made them lose their physical evidence of the Jersey Devil, angrily assaulted him, beating him to and inch of his life.

Later, Bleaton found himself healing in a strange wood. The Jersey Devil, grateful for the man for saving him, chose to possess Bleaton to return the favor. Following their merging, Ross Bleaton got his revenge on his assilants and turned to vigilante work, fighting against supernatural forces who plan to do harm to the world.
