Prescription drug disposal

I am in town to help a parent move into assisted living. She has a lot of expired prescription medication. Is there a place in town where I can take them to be disposed?

St Wendelin in Carrick is gone?

I am a military brat who grew up all over the world and I have no roots. My dad and generations of my family are from Pittsburgh, although by the time I was born, my grandparents lived in Florida, so I never visited Pittsburgh. This summer, I planned to take my kids to Pittsburgh to see specifically St Wendelin that so many of my ancestors helped build and also the houses up and down Kirk Ave where they all lived. I just learned that St Wendelin is no more and I’m heartbroken. Can anyone tell me what happened to the cemetery? Did they move the graves as well? Every single person I descend from is in that cemetery.

Need advice with a short term sublease

Could someone please give me pointers and advice about how to avoid any potential scam short term lease? I am a graduate student and have an internship in Houston beginning on June 1. I just received this offer and I am scrambling to find a place to live. I found a sublease for a private bedroom in a furnished apartment that already has two other students. The location is ideal and they will accept my three month stay. What do I need to ask for and what do I watch out for? I am coming from out of town, so I am really nervous about what I don’t know to ask for beyond the signed lease.

I need advice. My level 1 one+ adhd + anxiety + dysgraphia son will be a fourth year college student in the fall. It was a victory to get him out of the car every day and into the school for most of his life, so I never thought we would get this far.

For background, my son wanted to be a Park Ranger, so he pursued a BA in Environmental Science. He wasn’t able to do the labs, so he switched to Criminal Justice. It seemed an achievable degree given his limitations. He has the foundation classes in Environmental Science so still had a path to being a Park Ranger (until recent federal budget cuts).

My son needs to complete an internship. Since he is in the criminology program, he can intern with any law enforcement agency or at the court house, also at the county jail, juvenile or adult probation, etc. None of these places interest him, so that is going to be a separate hurdle. He has to find and secure an internship from an approved list provided by the school.

My son is 22, has never held a job, doesn’t have any friends, and doesn’t really present well. He doesn’t talk much. I don’t know how he will fulfill this internship requirement. He will have to apply and interview and then work in one of the settings I described above.

Does he include his diagnosis on his resume? Or bring it up at the interview? I need help preparing him for this process. We can practice interviewing etc. I’m just not sure how to handle letting a potential employer know my son has autism and is going to be different than previous interns. If he doesn’t complete this requirement, he won’t graduate.

I’m really at a loss. I worry about my son every day. While he is in school, I have had a false sense of assurance that things are going to work out, even though he relies heavily on me to stay organized and on track. Once he’s out of school, I don’t know if he can function on his own, much less in an internship.
