Gameplay idea July 2026

The Return of Cleopatra

My idea is to play a woman of Nubian origin who believes she is Cleopatra and has a divine mission to restore the Kushite empire to Egypt.

Start: county in Syria (Cleopatra went into exile there in her youth)

Coptic faith and Nubian culture

Physical characteristics: all the characters in my dynasty will have white hair (yes, the new season of House of Dragons has just started)

Originally I wanted to start in an administrative Arab empire, but I think it's more interesting to play in its clan-based version (this will be my first game since the DLC).

My first objective is to become more powerful than my overlord, the duke.

Second objective: to become a vassal of the emperor and conquer Egypt

Third objective: to create a hybrid culture with the French (you can choose the culture that you find most interesting).

Fourth objective: conquer the Maghreb empire, the Kush empire (I forgot its name in CK3, but it was the East African empire), the kingdom of Jerusalem, and Syria.

Fifth objective: to try to place my dynasty on several important thrones, to make the Coptic Pope a powerful and independent king-pope

Becoming independent

END

Bonus: my dynasty's coat of arms is a lion holding a christian cross , with a fleur-de-lis tail and a sun in the colors of the French flag.

I want to change my civilization; I want to play a weak civilization. Let's discuss the likely changes and the developers' intentions for the next meta

I have the impression that the trend is towards a general buff to Civ 2 TC for the coming months.

There might be a general buff to melee infantry, such as an increase in the health of armored personnel or the damage of spearmen.

The civilizations that most people found too strong will be nerfed just enough to be playable, except perhaps for Japan, which will become as weak as it was before the addition of Dark Rush to their build order.

Delhi is unlikely to undergo many changes and will (perhaps) take the place of the Ottomans as a secret op

The only civilization I imagine will remain weak this year is Japan, but I'm probably wrong.

Abbasid (the civ I wanted to play) is going to be buffed again and again... (That made me sad lol)

Joan of Arc, my second option, will get a rework and will be nurtured by the developers until the civ becomes popular.

I'm not talking about HRE because, as someone who hated facing that civilization, I find the addition of the most useless technology in the universe to the university extremely funny.

I'd like to hear your opinion!

And help me find a weak civilization to play!

I need help: because of my new job I don't have time to cook

This is a new situation for me and I'm finding it a little difficult to handle.

I work from 6:30 am to 5 pm and I only have a 15-minute break to eat.

I've given up on the idea of eating breakfast because I won't have a break to go to the bathroom during the day if I need to.

Eating during my 15-minute break makes me nauseous; I think it's because my body is stressed, but maybe someone here will have an idea.

I always try to prepare my meals 2-3 days in advance, but recently my stove broke down and I can only use my rice cooker and air fryer.

I need ideas for meals I could eat in the evening and during my 15-minute break.

I don't mind eating the same thing for several days, even though I try to eat 3 different types of meals per week. (Important info: I hate salad)

And finally, I don't have much energy for cooking, I don't really know how to cook (the most complex dish in my repertoire is pasta carbonara), but But I don't want to eat fast food every day because of a lack of choice.

I can buy things like a multi-cooker or that kind of thing if necessary.

Thank you to the people who will take the time to help me.

I won't be able to try the new DLC for another 3 weeks, so make me dream by telling me how good the game has become.
