I have lived here for three years and the amount of times I’ve almost been hit by gigantic trucks while walking through the crosswalk is disgusting. Have some respect, don’t floor it and make me have to stop in the middle of the fucking road so you can drive right past me. I’m at the point where I’m having to stop in the middle of three lanes and if you hit me fuck you, I have the right of way. I literally had to do this the other day and the guy ended up finally slamming on his breaks because I’m just so over it. So to the man in the white Tahoe go fuck yourself.

Okay, so I just graduated with my MA in English and I’m currently stuck living in my college town. I got a job at the university in admin but I was wondering if I should start a small tutoring business around the town. I just want people’s input because I’m just a very shy person. I don’t use social media other than reddit. I was thinking of putting flyers up like at the local library and the small mall we have. I guess where I get nervous is the town I am in is known to be tight knit and Christian nationalist to the max… not that people can’t believe in what they want but the energy around these people can feel like a lot (I’m Catholic btw). That’s a bit of a tangent, but I was wondering if any of you guys started a small business like this? How did it go? Did you get any clients? Did you end up being more of a babysitter than a tutor sometimes? How much did you charge? I once was tutoring this girl in the town and she paid $35 an hour which was awesome. Curious what y’all think, cheers!

Hello, so my boyfriend (25m) and I (23f) have been long distance for two years and our second anniversary is coming up and sadly we are having to be apart for this one as well he’s from New Zealand and I am from Nevada USA. I would really like to do something special for him, but I am really unsure what to do. Last year we made a plan for how I’m going to move there after I’m done with my masters degree, that was our kind of fun thing to do together because I love planning we also did a art project and Legos. This year I’m unsure what to do because his flight to come see me graduate got canceled. I was going to graduate and we were gonna have our anniversary with him. so right now we don’t really know when I’m going to get to see him next, which is really sad and I’m pretty devastated so do any of you guys have any plans for what I could do that might be creative and hopefully low-cost?
