I think it should be known that the owners really appreciate this house, the owner of the house has owned it for over 60 years, and the house is over 100 years old.
The last time anything changed about this house was the 1960s. This house is bound to fall someday and I (and most Jane fans) don't want it to fall out of OUR ignorance.
If you know the houses location and are planning a visit, please please ask the owners. if you found the house you can definelty find the owners easier than you found the house. Don't tell anyone the coordinates of the house either, as if you do this it increases the risk of it being vandalized.
The owners are so so sweet and in my experience they truly want to allow people to visit this house, but if so many people visit without them knowing im sure there bound to stop people going entirely.
Leave nothing, take nothing. This house has a ton of history and if we let it sit by itself it'll eventually go back to earth.
