i’m not really a fan of ethel cain, but i recently discovered her music and i’m looking for songs with a traveling/exploring the world vibe. are there any where the lyrics mention traveling, leaving, exploring, or seeing new places?

This is why I can never open her stories in public😭😭

So recently Thoroughfare is in the Club Kid trailer, Strangers was in It Ends With Us, and I know two songs from Preacher’s Daughter were featured in a couple seasons of Invincible;

Are there any other pieces of media where Ethel’s songs are featured? And do you think the use of those songs were complementary/contradictory to the plot?

Pretty random but I need to know what other ppl think. I was mainly thinking for Willoughby and Preachers Daughter but if you have any that come to mind for the others I would love to hear those too

The title is self-explanatory; if you could direct an adaptation of Preachers Daughter either as a show or a movie, how would you do it? How would you mark the shift throughout the album, and the different aspects of it?

I’m just curious as to how other people would perceive an adaption (not that I think there needs to be one!)

I was wanting to post a remix on Soundcloud for fun but it keeps getting taken down automatically by the flagger bot. Has she said anywhere that her music is fair to use for remixes or do I just not post it?

I was listening to Spotify DJ and all of a sudden it started playing wrestling in dirt pits which I don’t even have downloaded as a local file. It’s under an “artist” named silentw0lf. There’s three other unreleased songs. They seem to just credit Ethel Cain in the song credits (not using her actual name like her music usually lists Hayden Anhedonia)
Has this happened before? I just don’t know how someone would even be able to do this unless it’s gone unnoticed and therefore not removed for copywrite.
