Tapo indoor security camera plug exploded - possible explanations and what to do?

Hi all, just looking for advice as just a bit freaked out!
Was just watching tv and heard a massive bang, dog jumped out of his skin. Had absolutely no idea what it was but the burnt electric smell was so potent that I checked all the plugs.

The plug to our tapo indoor pan tilt security camera has exploded. It was plugged in directly into our plug socket and the socket switch was turned on. We haven’t unplugged or turned the pocket switch off in a while as it is set up in place for us to monitor our dog when needed.

Is this a tapo fault or could this be a problem with our plug socket? I will avoid using the plug/socket but is there anything to do in the meantime and do i need to get an electrician round ASAP?

We bought this house about 6 months ago and no other issues so far and as it is our first home, i’m so clueless what to do from here. Thanks!

Tapo indoor camera plug just exploded

Kinda freaking out right now. Was just watching tv and heard a massive bang, dog jumped out of his skin. Had absolutely no idea what it was but the burnt electric smell was so potent that I checked all the plugs.

The plug to our tapo indoor pan tilt security camera has exploded. It was plugged in directly into our plug socket and the socket switch was turned on (we are in the UK). The plug was split in half when i found it. We haven’t unplugged or turned the pocket switch off in a while as it is set up in place for us to monitor our dog when needed.

Is this a tapo fault or could this be a problem with our plug socket? Will reach out to them now but wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

So relieved nothing worse happened or whilst we were asleep.

Overwhelmed by choice of grooming tools - which to prioritise?

Hello all! Here is our little boy Sky. We are looking to upgrade our grooming tools and we are struggling to narrow down to the best 2/3.

I have done lots of reading the various suggestions on this subreddit and other forums and the second photo generally summaries the most spoken about tools that I could find (brand tends to vary with the rake and pin brush but have put the CC one for now).

Out of the 4, which tools would you say are the most important? We are definitely getting the slicker brush but curious if any others are a must buy. Also are there tools you recommend to use more frequently than others? Thanks!

Trapped cat in unit along Market Place - who can help?

Seen this on facebook.

Who could be contacted to help? Stockport council redirect to RSCPA on their website for anything related to animal welfare. Can only speak to RSPCA on the phone regarding assistance if present at the scene and can confirm the cat is still there but unfortunately I’m not local and OP isn’t responding to messages.
