I’m really starting to go off the wall with my ideas challenge entries.
I frequently get rejections for images being blurry. I am curious what settings people are using in studio that they have found success with. I typically run 1620x1080, with photoreal at high and then png16bit. It seems to work fine for smaller builds but gets blurry for larger images.
I originally built the small ship early this year as a part of the mini space build IDEAS challenge. I decided to scale it up because I thought the design was really fun.
How the ship works.
Exotic matter is store in the green tanks along the curved arm. The matter powers many of the functions on the ship and goes down the primary shaft and then horizontally through the ship. It goes through the clear cockpit which is actually a small tower stacker sideways, and ejects spent fuel from the front. Out of the back, the dark blue is the exotic matter being expelled to push the ship forward.
On the bottom is a turret that can rotate any angle. In the middle of the ship are clear pieces which indicate the primary living quarters.
These are long-range multi-generational transports and are not designed for any terrestrial landings. Instead the will dock along spaceports, of which the heavy cruiser would dwarf, for supplies.
5,257 pieces altogether. 2 more entries in drafts, 1 awaiting approval.
Thanks to everyone who has supported so far!

I was sticking to the 300 piece suggestion when someone said I should do something bigger. So I was like okay, if I’m going to, it’s going to be ridiculous.
Only 42 votes away from hitting 1K!

Didn't see this one on the list.
A great way to wake up this morning and found out that my build was selected for the fan vote for the Dress to Impress LEGO house challenge! Funny enough, this is also the one year anniversary of the first time I was laid off ever. Cool to see how things have turned around.
I work hard to spread my fake leaks. I built the set in studio and then use canva to edit it to make it look like its on the lego site. No ai slop here, just pure hard work.
LS trim too.
You’ve probably seen a number of my ideas builds and challenge builds. This time I wanted to try an art build. I picked this piece because it’s just stuck in my mind for a number of years and I don’t know why but it resonates with me. If you like it, please support!

I didn't realize this sub existed. I submitted 7 builds for the Pokémon Ideas challenge. Enjoy.
I’m a life long Charlotte native, and LEGO recently launched a contest to build an iconic NBA mascot. I wanted to represent Charlotte, and I thought this would be really cool. I also didn’t know that Hugo was designed by Cheryl Henson, Jim’s daughter.
If you wanted to show support, leaving a comment on the contest page definitely helps
Hello!
I built a diorama of the very first tax day for the pre-historic ideas challenge! Support is appreciated and reciprocated!
I wanted to get better at building in studio so I decided I would enter every LEGO ideas challenge. I got carried away. 8 submissions for Pokemon, 2 for Yugioh, 3 for the mini space build, 4 for adventures in the outdoors, 4 Batmobiles, 1 idea set of my own, 1 mascot build, and I have one Dino build pending.
