How to study effectively

How do I study without getting distracted? I’ve realised I don’t have complete study sessions without any disruptions. I always find myself opening a new tab to watch YouTube videos, or text my bf, or search something completely unnecessary on the internet. I want this to stop but idk how to. I don’t keep my phone with me but I have access to everything on my laptop, which I need for studying as well. Pls someone help me out I have exams in 2 monthsssss

how many hours?

how many hours of independent and efficient study do you think one should get in order to achieve the highest scores in o levels? I do 9.5 hours of focused studying in weekends and off days, and about 4 hours during school days....

ECA

wondering how important it really is to have extracurriculars in your application? I plan on applying to some reputable universities for my undergrad in electrical engineering (University of Manchester is my target). Do extracurriculars really make a difference? My goal is to have spotless academic profile, but idk what to do with my ECAS.

A level subject choices.

My initial choice of subjects was Math, chemistry and physics. I want to pursue Electrical engineering and im wondering if I should switch out chemistry with Further maths? I wouldn't say im brilliant in maths, tho I achieve As and my teachers say im likely to get 90+ in o level add maths.....also I dont hate math but I dont love it either, but I love learning.
