Do any districts in southern CT or westchester county direct hire OTs in schools? So many use third party contractors

Looking to live in the southern CT area. Trying to gage how much one should be making (gross or net) to afford about 4k per month. We have maybe above average spending as we like to go out and do some traveling and have student loans. I am Searching mostly on realtor.com so it seems like they include the mortgage, the property taxes and home insurance.

School based OT here looking for some activity ideas for my lower functioning middle school aged kids. I’m typically used working with younger kids so any resources would be helpful!

Do I need to consolidate my loans? Or is it ok to keep them as is? Not sure if it will be more difficult to pay or track payments if they are not consolidated. I have a lot of loans but, all are direct or graduate plus via NelNet. Just looking for advice

I have questions about consolidation, how it affects my current repayment plan, how to best track my payments, etc. should I be asking this to know that who is my service provider or FASFA or someone else?
