Easiest build to make for T8 farming?

I'm done with the season with my usual chars and want to make a sorcerer to farm the dark citadel staff cosmetic for the last few weeks. Don't want to spend too much time grinding gear and glyphs.

I used the whisper caches to quickly level and get to T1, so I have some aspects and starter gear.

What is the easiest build I can put together with good AOE that will speed farm T8?

Stealth while standing still?

With Harash Shadow, sigil of subversion, and nether step I am seeing inconsistent stealth behavior.

Casting nether step and standing still sometimes results in permanent stealth while I'm staying still.

Sometimes it lasts a few seconds and I come out of stealth, while still having full shadowform stacks.

My build does use passive aegrom summons, but their attacks don't seem to affect stealth in any way.

This is driving me crazy. Am I just getting hit by damage that I'm not seeing and that kicks me out?

RIP Druid damage

The only way I was able to generate enough DPS with builds other than storm shred this season was with using ring of ursine.

Looking at my Off-Meta builds from this season this will make them all no longer strong enough for T12. Brutal nerf.

From PTR notes:

Might of the Ursine

Damage bonus reduced from 10-13%[x] to 2-4%[x] and now only applies to Werebear skills.

Edit: it's not only the damage reduction, but making it apply to wearbear skills only. No more toggling on lightning storm and staying in bear form to utilize this ring.

Off-Meta Sentinel/Blazing Scream Hybrid

Been tinkering with the Sentinel builds as I found the recommended ones clunky to play and wanted to share this variation which I personally find more fun. Some users on this sub gave me good tips on the direction of the build.

Gameplay: https://youtu.be/joXrFG1yhiA

Basically stay in stealth, cast sentinels, run around teleporting enemies into sigil with trails, nether step every few seconds to extend duration. Then mop up with blazing scream occasionally for big dps spikes.

This is not a push build and I'm sure some interactions are probably not the most optimal, but this can speedfarm pit 110+ with mythic gear.

Profane Sentinel build is awful to play... What am I missing?

I am trying this build https://mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/builds/warlock-profane-sentinel-endgame

I just cannot wrap my mind around the intended gameplay here.

I spam cast sentinels, hit the greater demon attack for +damage, then nether step bringing all the sentinels with me, then spam blazing scream for faster nether step cooldown.

Then I nether step again and again dragging the sentinels with me and hoping I am positioned near enemies? I always end up somewhere in Narnia and I can't see sentinels expiring among all the moving and chaos. Then my dominance is completely out, so I'm stuck with 2 sentinels, nether step on cooldown and no dominance surrounded by an elite pack I unknowingly jumped into.

Has anyone been able to make this this work smoothly?

Season 14 has cured my Diablo addiction

I got really into D4 over the last few seasons, to the point where it was the only game I was playing for months at a time. For some context I played 5 classes in S13.

After this season's crappy mythic changes and the overall grind increase, I had hopes for the patch, but they messed it up too.

After doing a few builds for a single class I no longer want to bother with this season. Deflated is the best word to describe it.

Lets hope they turn this around next season, cause the path they're taking isn't working.

Salvage warplans broken? Barely giving anything.

I just completed a rank 8 warplan with 4 salvage nodes, including one with legendary salvage amount. All on T11.

Got 200 forgotten souls from all of this. Is this a joke?

Storm Shepard set with passive pet attacks?

I have a zero button companion build that relies on passive storm wolves attacks for main damage.

I finally got a mythic seal and swapped out the 5 piece bestiary set for full set storm Shepard + 3 set bestiary expecting the damage to skyrocket.

Not really seeing an improvement and maybe even lower overall crits.

Does the storm set interact differently with the passive wolves attacks than say shred?

Just give us a casino at Cerrigar at this point.

Throw in a pub and a tity bar next door to complete the degenerate gambler experience you so desperately want us to have.

Don't forget to add tweaked out npcs all around to beg us for spare change and smokes in exchange for personal favors.

DoK build very squishy in T12.

I followed the maxroll guide, paragon 270, and have over 6 million toughness when fighting.

Raw stats are 15k armor, 32k life and resistances 85-91%.

Even with maxed resolve stacks I still die a lot from elites and pit bosses often kick my ass.

Without resolve built up, I get one shot by random trash mobs in T12.

Is this just a fragile build or am I missing something?

How long did it take you to get that last greater khazra armor piece from Dark Citadel?

I farmed all pieces but chest in the last 3 weeks doing daily runs, but this last piece is just not dropping for the last few days.

How long did it take you to complete the set?

Is Warlock minion build as hands-off as other classes?

With necro and druid it's possible to just stand in t11 (and probably t12) and the minions just kill everything around.

Can warlock function in a similar way or does it require constant buffs from active skills in higher torments?

Any builds out there using mobility sever as main damage source for speed farming?

Any way to generate enough damage out of sever to allow dashing between enemies and damaging them with the skill instead of relying on astral bone spirit for dps?

I really like the spiritborn counterswarm gameplay from this season and looking for something similar with necro.

Using mounts in this game is infuriating.

Get on mount, use 2 charges just to get to full speed.

Get stuck on some stick in middle of path and lose all boost, use up last charge.

Speed runs out and charges still on cooldown.

Riding slow AF. Finally have a charge, use it and now we're moving semi-fast again.

Hellwyrm throws up some invisible shit that bumps you off. No charges left, so you're stuck on foot bodyblocked by a bunch of monsters.

You die.

Who designed this shit? I've started playing mostly classes with spammable mobility just so I don't have to rely on mounts to get around.

Which builds can speedfarm T12?

Aside from poison swarm, which I have now. I understand it's the strongest this season by far.

Any other ones that can hang in T12 comfortably without having to grind crazy good gear?

Is zero button summon build viable on T10+?

I have little kids and often need to drop the controller to get them back to sleep in the evenings.

Can the summon druid be built so the summons just kill everything around me while I'm away or does it require active skills to do decent damage in T10+?

Upgrade to unique - Mace of king leoric not working?

So I gambled some 1H maces and removed affixes to get it to common quality.

When choosing upgrade to unique in cube these are visible as if capable to be converted, but when hitting transmute the sound and effect is there, but nothing happens.

Is this bugged?

Stacking blood vs physical damage for bloodwave?

On my bloodwave necro I replaced a + blood damage temper with +physical of same value and my max damage numbers dropped about 10%.

I thought crit, vul, and specific elemental were the best types to go for.

Do I generally need to mix in +blood, darkness, bone damage into builds as well? If so how much?
