I found this baby growing in my discard soul from a small bit of rhizome. I do not recognize it to any of my plants and wondering if something took a ride in one of my orders. The leaves have a texture closer to a Jacklyn than a Melo. Thanks for any help!!
This is my Neon Breaker, Mom. She’s one of my first plants and has been to hell and back(left outside full sun during Arizona heatwave during move) and has recovered to this point over the winter and spring being left outside against a west wall (afternoon shade). She’s been in this pot for years and it started to crumble so time to repot. My dilemma-would you selectively remove some of her babies, I’ll raise them inside my plant room where I’ll move Mom for summer. Or, should I remove them all, cut the stem and start her low to the ground again? Also, any tips for her babies are greatly appreciated. Either I’m bad with them or they really don’t like to be separated from Mom??? Their demise and her growth have been the biggest motivation behind my lack of repotting her. Farmers market box delivered yesterday. Costco and Lowe’s, done. Get home, rip a few and decide that my disabled AF ass was going to get on her knees to look under the sink at the plumbing before starting dinner. My caretaker had an event tonight so I’m on my own. Welp, now I cannot put any weight at all on my right knee. So this will be my dinner tonight, not the fun pasta I had planned. More excited for this. Cheers and buen provecho!!

Id love to try to propagate this by seed. I was playing with one berry and it plucked out like a kernel of corn. Can I put that in some light grit under a grow light? The cactus is outside. Thanks for any insight!!
