Hello! I have been giving tips here like which apps you can use to find clients, how to improve your portfolio, etc. But you know, I still believe that the BEST way to get clients is through inbound marketing. They contact you. And how to do that? BE CONSISTENT. ENJOY WHAT YOU ARE DOING. AND DELIVER VALUE 💗
I have been an online content creator for 8 years now, 5 years in UGC. If there’s one advice I could give for beginners, that is to never stop learning and upskilling. Yes, being passionate about this craft is one thing but being smart about it also another. Treat yourself as your business and your career your greatest investment (business-wise)
I wonder if there are people here who are also seasoned in the industry. Mind sharing advice in the comments?
My Boyfriend and I are creating fitness UGC for about a year now, and it's slowly turned into our full-time income. We both already spent 5 days a week in the gym, so instead of trying to force content in random niches, we decided to only work with fitness brands. We learned how to make videos that brands can run as ads is what made the biggest difference. We're now averaging around $8k/month combined, mostly from recurring clients and performance-based campaigns. Here's what I'd tell anyone trying to get into fitness UGC.
Build your content around your actual routine The best-performing videos almost never look like ads. Instead of filming a "review," we just record things we'd already be doing. Getting ready for the gym, packing meals, warming up, finishing a workout, stretching afterwards... the product naturally becomes part of the story instead of the whole story. People notice immediately when something feels forced.
Couples are surprisingly valuable A lot of fitness brands want different types of creators. Having both a male and female perspective means we can film twice as many concepts without hiring anyone else. Sometimes the same script becomes two completely different ads just because one of us delivers it. It also makes lifestyle content feel much more natural.
Film way more than you think you'll need We'll usually shoot 20 short clips during one gym session. Different angles, different exercises, close-ups, walking into the gym, water breaks, changing weights... Even if the brand only needs one video, having a huge library of B-roll saves hours later.
CPM deals changed everything At first we only did fixed-price deals. Eventually a few brands offered CPM campaigns where you still get paid for making the video, but you also earn based on how many views it generates. Obviously not every video takes off, but when one performs well it can end up paying significantly more than a normal UGC job. If you're confident your content performs, they're definitely worth looking into.
Don't obsess over having a huge following Neither of us started with a big audience. Brands buying UGC usually care much more about whether you can make content that converts than whether you have 200k followers. Some of our best clients found us because of our portfolio, not our Instagram.
Keep a swipe folder Every day we save fitness ads that make us stop scrolling. Good hooks, transitions, camera angles, editing styles... We're not copying them, but after a while you start noticing patterns in the videos that consistently perform. It's probably the easiest way to improve.
Fitness is one of the easiest niches to keep creating content Unlike a lot of niches where you eventually run out of ideas, we're already in the gym almost every day. Every workout is another opportunity to film. Different exercises, different routines, different problems people deal with... there's always something new to build content around. If you're already into fitness, it's one of the most natural UGC niches to get into. If anyone has questions about getting started, finding clients, CPM deals, pricing, or anything else, feel free to ask. Happy to share what we've learned.
This will probably become more common as AI demand keeps growing. Power and local impact matter just as much as the tech.
Well, I was studying Communication in college. To make the long story short, we had a subject named Communication Planning where we needed to do a communication plan for any business or organization. Our professor, thankfully, is very into creativity and stuff like that and so, I presented a communication plan about me as a creator and that includes my portfolio. I was really proud of it.
If you’re trying to build your portfolio, maybe you can try going the extra mile and turn it into a whole communication plan project. It will help you assess, plan, and execute your creator career better.
Hiii! If you’re a Filipino creator looking for brands to work with, you may try the app AnyCreator. Unlike Partipost, AnyCreator did not have issues with late payments
Hii! For my fellow Filipinos, aside from AnyCreator app, which app do you use to look for potential collaborations?
Hii! If you’re a brand looking for a Filipina creator for your beauty, lifestyle, and skincare products, look no further coz I’m here!
Hit me up and let’s get your brand rolling ASAP!

For my fellow marketers out there, how do you use Claude aside from doing comprehensive Market researches or Competitor Analysis? I wanna broaden my skills in using Claude for work. Thank you in advanceee!
Hiii! I’ve been a creator for 5 years now and when I was starting there’s actually this platform named Intellifluence where I’d get paid deals. I got around 4 in that platform. Anyone also familiar with them?
If you’re from the Philippines, you’d probably get what I’d be talking about 😂 when I was younger, I’d see boys my age carrying empty matchboxes on the street, they’d meet at a certain spot, and settle. They’d then open a match box and guess what? A SPIDER is inside. They’d then make that wrestle with another boy’s spider between a piece of stick. The first spider that falls down loose. PEAK FILIPINO CHILDHOOD IMO
I just wanna say that I’m really grateful for this community. With my 5 years as a UGC creator, I’m thankful because I never stopped learning here and also gained a platform to share my learnings as well.
After applying to a lot of campaigns and getting ignored or rejected, I finally got accepted for my first paid UGC deal. The brief is fairly simple, they want a short video with a quick demo of how the app works. I need to send a first version, then they can request one round of revisions. The payment isn’t anything crazy, but I’m just happy someone is finally paying me to make a video instead of offering a discount code or a ref. I’ve made some sample videos for my portfolio, but filming something for a real client feels completely different. I’m probably overthinking the script because I don’t want it to sound too polished or obviously sponsored. For anyone who has done UGC for apps before, do you normally follow the brief closely or make your own version based on what you think would perform better? Also, is there anything I should clarify with the company before filming?
Hii! I’m a digital marketer/social media marketer/marketing head/executive assistant in my current job. I realized I want a change. I want to explore WFH opportunities in the Social Media Manager niche. However, I also feel like this is an oversaturated niche. My question is, how do you think I’d be able to have an edge? Should I be more specific by platform? by skillset?
HELLOOOO to my fellow marketing people out here! So I recently used Claude for a comprehensive marketing report and competitor analysis, which I can’t show the actual results here for obvious reasons, and MYGHADDD it was so good! I worked alongside it from start to finish and was able to meet my deadlines.
I’m telling y’all, AI excels in the Marketing field the most when used responsibly and creatively 🙌🏻
