I have some free time tomorrow and nobody to go out with!!!

I have tomorrow completely free, and I realized I’d genuinely love to go on a date with a girl. ( I am
19F, bisexual (lean more towards women).)

The thing is, I’m not really looking to jump into a relationship. I’d much rather be friends first, get to know the girl, especially as I am super feminine and love to know and talk with someone than anything overwhelming. I miss the idea of meeting someone you’re excited to talk to, spending hours getting to know them, get shy at first, and just enjoying each other’s company without forcing anything.

It just feels weirdly difficult to find like minded people, especially other women who are looking for the same kind of slow, genuine connection.
Maybe this is just me venting I guess???

Any luck in career related field next year? Preparing for entrance exams for college right now. D10 also added.

19 and haven’t started college yet, in influence of Saturn mahadasha but have started to work very hard. Preparing for 2 exams ( CLAT and NEET), will I be able to get desired results?

Please guide.

What’s with my stubbornness related to college?

I have been stubborn about getting into any private colleges, it’s like I wanna work hard and get at better position. It has been like that for the past 1 year. Idk if it’s the right thing to do or should I move on with the college? 18f

What’s it like to navigate law school as a first generation aspiring lawyer? 🙂

I’ll be around 20 when I start law school, and I’ll be a first generation law student. Nobody in my family is a lawyer, but my father is a businessman and a former state sportsman, so over the years he has built friendships and connections with lawyers, judges, and even some law professors.

I sometimes wonder if those connections could actually help me as a student, or if connections only really matter when law is already a family profession.

And if I don’t end up getting much help through those connections, what could my future in law realistically look like?

Should I really consider this?

Hey everybody, hope you all are doing well, I’m 18 (almost 19) and I come from a PCB background. I took a drop for NEET, but honestly, I’d be lying if I said the drop year was truly for that. I was dealing with a lot mentally and just needed a break from everything for once.

The weird part is, I was actually very enthusiastic about PCB in the beginning of 11th. I had worked insanely hard in 10th because I desperately wanted Science. In most private schools, you need above 85% to get PCB, and I was genuinely proud of earning it.

But my mental health kept getting worse (anyone wondering why— household emotional situations since I was 13 and a sense of ambition that I can’t reach and it makes it worse), and eventually I burned myself out completely. I went from being a consistent 90% student to barely passing 12th with 75%. For almost an entire year, I couldn’t even study consistently for an hour. Looking back now, I think a huge reason for that was that I subconsciously stopped enjoying what I was studying. Even during 12th, I’d stare at my books wondering, “What am I even doing?”

I ended up giving NEET somehow, and now with the paper leak situation happening again, I genuinely don’t see myself wanting this path anymore. I did get into a private university in Dehradun, but honestly, I don’t think my mental health can handle that kind of environment right now. And if I force myself into a degree I already feel disconnected from, I know I’ll just end up carrying even more pressure.

Recently, I studied a bit for CLAT and gave a few mocks, and for the first time in a long while, I actually enjoyed studying. Reading legal reasoning felt more interesting to me than memorising the periodic table or solving numericals ever did.

Now I feel stuck between two choices. One part of me wants to take another drop year, disappear for a while, ignore the FOMO of seeing my friends enjoying private colleges and DU, and genuinely prepare for CLAT properly with a burden of double drop but with constant therapy sessions (and I am much better than I was). The other part of me keeps wondering if I’m falling behind in life.

So now I’m confused should I just take admission in a private college for LLB, or maybe do something like BSc Psychology (which still interests me a bit because of my own mental situation) alongside CLAT preparation?

Would genuinely appreciate some advice. Sorry for the long vent but I really had questions and couldn’t sleep the whole night.

Need honest reviews and real experiences about the BBA LLB (Hons.) program at UPES academics, faculty, placements, internships, campus life and peer group. Is it worth the fees?

If you’re currently studying law at UPES, I’d genuinely love to hear your honest opinions and experiences. You can comment here or DM me- it would really help me out.

My exam is on the 20th, and I haven’t done any separate preparation for English yet. Should I take a free mock test to see what abomination I can possibly do?
