I bought this watch from Balboa and it’s been an amazing piece. However, after my recent modded DJ41 pickup, I don’t see myself wearing this one as much, so I’ve decided to let it go.

Anything else you notice: Mainly concerned about the slight tilt on the 3 o’clock marker and the bottom right SEL gap. Everything else looks fairly good to my eyes. Would appreciate any other issues you guys notice. Thank you for the help!

Deleted my earlier post because I genuinely felt the pictures weren’t doing this watch justice. Took some time today and clicked a few better ones myself, so here we go again.
This is my custom silver-dial Datejust 41 that Balboa put together for me:
● VF case & dial
● Clean Factory Jubilee bracelet, chamfered
● CNC white-gold-plated fluted bezel
● DD3235 movement
● Deep Crystal
The silver dial was exactly what I wanted, and the finished piece absolutely delivered. The bezel, bracelet and overall finishing look killer in person, and the watch feels great on the wrist.
More than the watch itself, though, I wanted to give Balboa his flowers. He’s become my go-to watch guy. Super chill, patient and straightforward to deal with, and I personally prefer dealing with him rather than ordering through overseas TDs.
And apparently my previous appreciation post made it into a group chat with people wondering whether these reviews are fake 😂
So just to clear that up: I’m a real buyer, these are my own pictures, and this is my own watch. Anyone who genuinely doubts it is welcome to DM me.

Wanted to share this beautiful silver dial Datejust and give a well-deserved shoutout to Balboa.
I reached out to him looking for a really special Datejust and paid in advance to reserve my timepiece. From there, Balboa took care of everything and built this beauty.
The final build features a VF case and silver dial, DD3235, chamfered Clean Factory bracelet, Deep crystal, and a custom CNC-cut white-gold-plated bezel.
Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The silver dial with that bezel looks absolutely stunning in person, and the whole watch has the look and feel I was hoping for.
Really appreciate Balboa for making this happen. Definitely worth the wait. 🙌⌚
Balboa has become my go-to guy for watches now. I’ve stopped using Chinese TDs altogether, and experiences like this are exactly why.
I wanted to test how long my Sub No-Date would run after winding it properly. I gave it around 40 turns of the crown, and it ran for 30 hours and 35 minutes. It was left on a table in the position shown in the photo for the entire test.
People say these watches should run for around 60–70 hours, so I’m not sure what’s wrong with mine. It’s only about 2 months old.
I’m testing it again now after giving it 50 turns of the crown to see if that makes any difference.
Perfectly aligned VSF 124060s are very hard to find these days. I had an order with Andiot, but it looked really bad. Then I found Balboa and ordered from him, and I received the watch in just two days.
I’m very happy with the watch and with his service. I don’t mind paying a little extra for the perfect watch and the best service, though his prices are actually in line with other sellers and even better than many of them.

Well I have this beauty in hand. Tho I’m over analysing 3 and contemplating whether I should order a new one with perfect hour markers. Lot of reputed mods told me that it ain’t an issue and on wrist it won’t be noticeable at all. What do you guys think? My first rep so I’m sorry if it isn’t a big deal for someone

Index alignment: Looks good to me overall. Hard to judge perfectly due to photo angle, but I’m not seeing any obvious marker issues or misalignment.
Dial print: Print looks clean and sharp. No noticeable flaws.
Date wheel: Date appears centered in the window and cyclops alignment looks good.
Hand alignment: Looks fine from what I can tell. GMT hand and stack appear normal.
Bezel: Triangle/pip alignment looks centered with the dial marker. Bezel numerals and insert look good overall.
SELs: Look tight with no major gaps visible.
Timegrapher: +5 s/d, 284°, 0.1 ms — numbers look healthy. Rate and beat error are strong; amplitude is solid.
Anything I’m missing? Appreciate a second set of eyes before I GL.
