Ski trips

What are your favorite week trips to take? I took one last year to slc and was seeing if there are options similar to that. Especially budgeting wise. From Cali so I just happen to drive there but don’t mind flying if it isn’t too expensive.

Career advice? How should I go onto the next step

Just started in an entry-level new role for a health care company. However, most of the job is just refreshing Crystal Reports and setting new parameters for Crystal. I do a little tedious stuff here and there using Excel, but nothing a high schooler can't do. Don't use much SQL or Tableau/Power BI? Is this normal?

How to break into finance as an econ major

Hey, was wondering how econ majors broke into finance careers, not talking about investment banking/ those "prestigious" careers. Many finance jobs I look at require courses or exams passed that are usually from finance degrees. However, I do know that a lot of econ majors go into finance careers.

Entry level jobs

What kind of SQL should I expect to write in entry-level data roles? I've seen some rather more complex stuff on here and is that the stuff I should expect? Or should the basic joins, group by, and when should be enough? If anyone is in an entry level role and could give examples of their queries(with names/variables changed ofc) that would be helpful!

Entry Level Jobs

Where are you guys finding entry-level jobs? I'm a new grad with intermediate SQL and Excel proficiency. However, I'm applying for roles in data analytics roles, but I'm not hearing back. I've been applying on LinkedIn and HiringCafe

Hi team, I'm learning these three skills. How many of them are needed to land an entry-level job? I have a solid foundation in all three; however, Excel and SQL can get quite advanced. How much will I be expected to know for an entry-level data analytics job?

How should I put my relevant coursework under education? Should I just put the name ie " Data Mining & Visual Analytics" or should i also add the technical skills i learned there such as " Data Mining & Visual Analytics (SQL)"
