What were the original "template" series for the influx of slop series like reincarnated villainess, idiot prince calls off engagement, kicked out of the hero party, etc? I assume all of these were Syosetsu (Shousetsuka ni Narou) web novels
The only one I'm certain of is Mushoku being *the* template reincarnation/fantasy-type isekai (no game menu, levels, etc)

Are there any similarly shaped (blade is "pointed" so the wrist is in a neutral position) small fixed blades to a Kabar TDI? Looking for either a carbon steel, stainless from a manufacturer with verified hardness data, or a stainless that usually doesn't get butchered too badly
Use case is light duty EDC. I find straight handles awkward to belt carry and want to try something different. The TDI series is fine but I'd like to know of some alternatives
Are there any bladeless models with scissors + file? Preferably 58mm? I already carry a folder separately and I never use the blade on the Classic
My best solution currently is an old Swisscard with the knife taken out. I was wondering if there are any recommendable aftermarket options to carry Swisscard components? Having the full size scissors would be nice
I was recently made aware of Tajima utility blades, which have a better HT/final hardness on their SK-120 (64HRC) than the majority of the knife industry 😭. Thought I'd try carrying a utility blade again for the fun of it
Looking for a model with a good toolless quick swap system, good deep (or deep-ish) carry clip, locking, and not too bulky like Fastbacks. A compact model with blade storage would be cool. Does not have to be super minimal to the point where the opening method is sliding the blade itself. In general, no crossbar locks and no flippers
I've tried the Reate Exo-U and Rivery Zero in the past and didn't like them (Exo rattles a lot. Zero doesn't have a clip + bad blade obstruction + bad swap system). Not interested in Exceed Designs or Big Idea Design

It just dawned on me that the Para 3 pivot barrel is a bushing 🤦. Assumed bushings were always a separate part like I'm used to with balisongs. I was wondering why I could tighten my screws down so much after a blade swap. Zero play, drop shut, and a nice *thunk* when opening and closing now; Magnacut's cool too. Am I just stupid for not realizing or do people not tune for the bushings at all?

Two new Spydercos (I caught the bug).
First time trying the Manix and I somehow hate the crossbar on this even more than AXIS lock-likes. The angle of the lock release makes it a necessity to brace using the clip or hold on for dear life by using friction against the rear of the handle. Really bad in the left hand unless I swap the clip over. Sending this back asap 👎
The Chaparral is hilariously small compared to my image of Spydercos and crazy thin. I've heard the Shabazz glaze this thing for years but I wrote off backlocks. Instantly my favorite small knife rn

Built a new Para3; Magnacut from a salt model, RGT skinny scales and backspacer, DNA Lasering plugs. 4th of July sales were excellent 🦅 🦅 🦅. The s45 one has Flytanium lotus scales and waiting on another MXG clip
