When did you guys realize you were lesbian?

I (16F) still don’t know if I’m bisexual or actually lesbian. A part of me just says I’m bisexual because i might have a bit of internalized homophobia? But it’s also hard to explain because I’m super proud of liking girls and I love anything sapphic related. Whether that’s art, books or media representation, I’m all in for it. As for heterosexual media, I couldn’t care less about it.

But i still don’t know if I’m actually lesbian or have a super high preference for females? Like everything i consume is sapphic and i can see myself in a relationship with a woman, but i also admit im sexually attracted to males too, more specifically the parts? But I don’t think im romantically attracted to men, as in i would not see myself dating a man. Im also not physically attracted to males either? I could easily find an average looking girl more attractive than a conventionally attractive looking boy if that makes sense. The only thing I’m certain of being attractive to is well “male” parts.

So if I had the option to be in a romantic relationship with a man or a trans woman, I’d probably end up with the trans woman. Does that sound transphobic and invalidating? I hope not.

Has anyone also experienced this? And if so, what are your thoughts and how did you personally figure yourself out.

Is singing a talent or skill that can be learned?

Can you become a good singer, or is it something you’re born with?

For me, I’ve had music experience my entire life and when I do sing I know I’m always in key but I feel like my voice doesn’t sound good. Is singing something that I can improve? And how do I go about doing so?

I don’t know how to differentiate romantic and platonic feelings towards males.

I’m 16F and I still don’t know how to differentiate my feelings towards males. When I have a crush on girls, it’s obvious to me and I can accept that. But it’s so difficult for me when it comes to boys. I have a tendency to feel attracted to any boy that gives me attention or is just a nice person overall, but it doesn’t come often.

I just started a new school a few days ago, and I met this guy and he’s super nice. It doesn’t feel awkward when we talk at all and I overall feel comfortable. He also has an lgbtq ally sticker on his Chromebook which I thought was really cute.

Obviously it’s been a few days so I don’t have a crush on him or anything, but it’s a potential thought I had. Almost all of my guy friends are gay, so maybe that’s why i jump to conclusions when im starting to become friends with a boy.

Does any girl also feel this way? Is this comphet?

Ironically I [16 F] feel like I have “internalized heterosexuality”

I 16F feel so confused about my sexuality. I’ve always thought that I liked only girls and in fact STRICTLY consume and create queer media such as drawing my favorite queer ships. However, i always feel so guilty when I find a guy cute which it’s funny because it should usually be the other way around. I’d say I’m proud of my queer identity and I admire queer relationships and culture. But I feel so impostor-y for potentially liking guys too. I’d say im bisexual for sure because I do like girls and guys, but i always feel so weird when I show interest in a man because a big part of my identity revolves around the queer community. Like what if I think I like girls when I don’t? But it wouldn’t make sense because I favor lesbian/sapphic media over anything else. Sometimes I feel too “straight” to be queer and too queer to be “straight.” It’s really frustrating but then again I’ve never dated anyone. It just feels wrong when I might like a guy because all of my friends know me as the gay friend.
