Sunday Lather

I'm finally getting VERY consistent with my lather. Sticky, thick, not much water. It's great!

Hot... Take?

I think The Mantelopes had it way worse than The Colonials. The idea of singing songs of sadness for 40 million years while keeping your intelligence / The idea of being a sentient blob of living toilets are almost equal in terms of being "worse" to me. The reason why I think Mantelopes had it worse is because they slowly lost their intelligence after The Qu had left. Over the course of 100.000 years they became nothing but animals. Picture this, even after your tormentors have departed, you are still being haunted by your past scars and evolution thought you'd be better off non-sapient. Watching every generation of your kind losing the very quality that separated you from the rest of Qu's horrific creations. There is the loss of hope. The Colonials were the opposite and they managed to evolve, adapt. They built a functioning society and if we leave out the part where they all got wiped out by The Gravitals I think they have a slight edge. In a story defined by hope and determination, The Mantelopes were not spared one iota of either principle.

How long did it take for those who have all the achievements?

It could have been a much shorter journey but I was having too much fun with limit breaks and didn't feel like getting to the base game adventures.

New reader here

The moment I saw The Qu I instantly connected them with Ithorians from the Star Wars universe. As a big Star Wars nerd this made me excited. Ithorians don't have wings but both species are quite similar when it comes to their heads. Just something I wanted to point out as I couldn't find any mention the Ithorians.

New Acqusitions

I must say I'm very pleased with Peach & Ice from Mastro Miche. It smells strong and lingering. Definitely leaving the mustache for the last bit because it is enjoyable. It's more of a sweet and natural peach smell compared to the ones you might pick up hints of in woody or boozy perfumes. The ice part is no lie either; maybe it's because I haven't used menthol/minty soaps in a while (it has been 2 months since I finished my Proraso Green), but it definitely stings!

As for Eyüp Sabri N1, it reminds me of Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male. Not exactly, but I recently smelled it so maybe my brain made a weird connection. I don't have much else to say about it because it was kind of disappointing. I really like the smell, and for the price point it seems a fair purchase. I only wish it lasted longer on my skin.

(Quick warning! As deceiving as it looks, the cap and the bottle are both made of plastic.)
