Reactions to vs Zigra at G-Fest 2026

Kadokawa doesn't want to have these moments of the audience reacting up even with editing the video footage to be less blantent or in still images. So I'm posting it here. For archival sake of the theater expirence. Huge amount of reactions from this one.

Detailed Skar King moveset I made

Skar’s block animation would be him holding out Whipslash

Skar’s basic attack would be throwing overarching swings in a horizontal line similar to Camerra but they’re slower but deal more damage similar to Thunderthross being slower but doing more damage.

Skar’s heavy attack would be a vertical downward swing that slams the ground catching opponents in its reach and causing them to bounce up

Skar’s jump attack would be a double back kick that allows to bounce enemies up in the air longer like Gorogong’s uppercut

Skar’s dash attack is a front kick forward. If the opponent is pushed into a building or arena wall, they have a chance to bounce

Skar’s special is unique and has two types. Skar can summon a Red Stripe guard to do a basic attack with a weapon of choice such as a club or spear. The AI would work like Rohanna’s Piki the Pear. Once the ape does the attack animation they jump out of screen. There are 3 types of guard designs which carry their different melee weapon. But all act the same way.

This is the ground special.

Skar’s air special will be a downwards strike form Kong’s axe

Skar’s charged special is also unique. Skar will charge his Whipslash in a circular motion. The attack acts the same as MechaJuras charged special with the longer you hold it, the farther it will reach. If it reach’s an opponent, it will break blocks, stun and grab and pull towards him. He will then choke them, and then let them go by kicking them off. If the whiplash doesn’t command grab an enemy fighter but grabs a throwable object, it will instead cause Skar to throw the object at the nearest enemy with auto aim.

Skar will also have a unique hold special while in the air. He will grab an opponent if in his reach and pull them into the air

Skar’s block attack would be to swing the act up as an upper cut. This can then pair with jump special where he then swings down with the axe.

Skar’s block special would be summoning Shimo to Tail swipe an opponent backwards. Like dash attack, can be bounce able to then use air combos

Skar’s grab attack involves punches and then him, choking them before kicking them off.

Skar’s grab special summons Shimo to freeze the opponent like Kiryu or Tiga’s air mode

Finally, his ultimate is him causing the new “ice age” where Shimo summons a massive area of ice that does damage with splash in a circle

Unique trait: Skar can use 2 extra dodges before tiring out unlike other characters

Could Toho make Showa King Kong stuff again by 2029?

A thought just crossed my mind. With King Kong going into the public domain in 2029, would this mean Toho can use their versions of Kong and also MechaniKong in merchandise and in media appearances? Or does Universal own the rights to them as well outside both of the films distribution?

If I was in charge of Gigabash getting what I wanted from the 3 companies (15 Godzilla, 15 Ultraman, 4 Gamera/6 Daiei)

I don’t think we’re getting King Kong until 2029

Why you may ask? Well the original film and its sequel Son of Kong will become public domain on January 1st 2029. Meaning anyone can use the name, character and design of the movie(s) for whatever they want to. Meaning we’re gonna get a lot of garbage low budget stuff in a few years. But this means Passion Republic can use the 1933 characters for free and don’t need to worry about licensing the characters now.

Joe DeVito’s Kong would be the cheapest option if they really want to use him in the 2 years left before then but given how the reception to that universe is and mocked because of a certain game and its many plagiarised artwork for the graphic novels that it wouldn’t probably sell as well as the MonsterVerse version, who had to apparently be forced to have Godzilla with him, meaning because Passion only wants to do 2 characters DLCs now means there can’t be any villains from the MV either. And lord knows we couldn’t get Pacific Rim in the game last year so it’s just off the books.

Kong and Meat Eater would be a cool dlc with Skull Island as a new map. Definitely would be cool to see an accurate 1933 Kong or their own take on him.

Probably what the final roster will be for Godzilla, Ultraman and Gamera if we were putting faith into poll numbers

Today I found out that the Female Muto regrows her head back as she sinks from just dying to losing her head.

Something RE1 Remake definitely did worse than the original

In the original, the first zombie decapitated Kenneth with his face half eaten. Here the remake he just has him being bitten and his body’s is still in one piece. Which then brings up why he doesn’t become a zombie in the remake because they decided to change it to be less graphic like removing Hunters decapitating you. There’s little things like this that are changed in the remake that lessen the smaller stuff like this. Like removing the room where you can see the helipad from the window at a distance or having different paths with Barry and trusting him or not at different points.

With 30 fighters now in the game from the base 10 after four years, what characters would you want to see in the next 4 years of a possible 20 more to round it to 50?

When do you guys think the next Godzilla dlc will drop?

There’s a few options when it could. The possibility of a Minus Zero collab is temping. Or one for Supernova. Or just one in general for the next 9 months or so. Who it could be I think depends one when it drops.
