1936 Wheat Split 9

I'm just curious if this is an error or PMD. If it isn't error what would cause it? I checked Variety Vista and it doesn't match any of the DDO examples listed. There also doesn't appear to be any doubling anywhere on the obverse or reverse either. Thanks in advance!

Yolka Drone Interceptor

Found this video on Twitter last night.

Russian forces seem to be using the “Yolka” system more widely - new footage circulating online shows it in combat —

The system first drew public attention during Moscow’s May 2025 military parade, when a guard near the Russian president was seen carrying a compact drone-like device - reports have speculated that this could have been the “Yolka” system itself, or a closely related variant.

Video evidence of the “Yolka” began circulating in September 2024, showing the compact interceptor in action. In the footage, a Russian soldier launches the drone from a handheld, pistol-like device.

The “Yolka” system features a cylindrical body with two sets of X-shaped wings arranged sequentially. The smaller forward wings and the larger rear panel - which is said to house four electric motors with tractor-style propellers - provide lift and control without a conventional tail.

Instead of carrying a warhead, the system is reported to rely solely on kinetic energy to damage its target.

It is said to use a bi-spectral seeker combining thermal and optical tracking, supported by an AI module that enables autonomous target acquisition and engagement. Quote: Once the seeker is locked on the target, the drone is set to transition into autonomous flight.

Open-source reports suggest the interceptor has an engagement range of around 3 km.

The system reportedly reaches speeds of roughly 200–250 km/h, weighs around 1–3 kg, while the complete launcher system is said to weigh about 6 kg, with individual interceptors estimated to cost roughly $500.

I am just curious if the edge on the dime is considered mint error or not? If it is, what would this error be known as? If it is just post mint damage I'll move on like I always do.

Thanks again for everyone's help.

The rest of the coin seems to be in decent condition other than the two in the year. If it is not post mint damage, any ideas as to what would cause this?

Once again thanks in advance for lending me your knowledge.

Still going through all of my dad's old coins and found these while sorting through the years. Was just curious about what causes something like this.

Hey all! I am taking delivery of my 2026 Model S Plaid tomorrow (so stoked). Is there anything specific I should be on the lookout for that may not really standout initially during the vehicle inspection? This is the first time I've ever owned a brand new vehicle and I really don't want to overlook anything on a six figure car just because I am excited to have it after months of waiting.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

A family member sent me a phot of these spoons and asked for help looking them up. I have exhausted my google searches and have done way more research on spoons tonight than I have in my entire life!

Unfortunately this is the only photo they sent me.

What type of spoons are these and what are they used for? Any idea on how old they might be? I am guessing the "Platt" on the handle is most likely a monogram.

Thank you in advance!

Just wanted to share my awesome find at all Estate Sale last week! (Please take the translation with a grain of salt as I'm sure it isn't perfect)

Received this has change from the dollar store couple days ago. Unfortunately it is pretty marked up. Is there much value here other than face value with the condition it is in?
