I’ve been allotted a seat in the **Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP)** program at **IIEST Shibpur** in CCMT Round 1.

While IIEST Shibpur is a fantastic and historic institute, I am also waiting on the results/special rounds for:

1. School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) Special Round ( I got transportation, looking for MURP)

2. NIT Calicut (M.Plan)

I am trying to decide whether I should freeze my seat at IIEST or choose the "Float" option to see if I get into NIT Calicut or opt out for SPA.

My main questions:

How do the placements and industry exposure for MURP at IIEST Shibpur compare to NIT Calicut and SPA?

* Is it worth risking a secure seat at IIEST Shibpur to try my luck in the SPA Special Rounds?

* If anyone is an alum or current student at these departments, I'd love to hear your insights on the faculty, GIS/software exposure, and campus life.
