If you ever feel useless, remember the turrets from the oil rigs.

This made me realize, I'm surprised Bethesda never organized a modding contest, considering how strongly they encourage mods.

Their games are said to be the most mod-friendly in the industry as well. I never thought about this but there was never an official modding contest for their games, was there?

I won't lie, it would be interesting if the Creation Club was more like Tennogen (from warframe), where the community votes on the best mods for it... sure would raise the quality of content there.

The only thing I want for Fallout 5 is that they have as much time and money they can to have the least ammount of cut content possible.

I don't CARE how long it takes for a game to come out. I want then to take as long as possible if it means being able to make a good and complete game.

A note from Bethesda and Interview with Windows Central

Here is the Overview:

On Fallout: Bethesda confirmed that it is working towards Fallout 5, which is now in pre-production.

Bethesda confirmed previous reporting that Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas will get full remakes in the future, but didn't announce dates. Bethesda also confirmed that Obsidian is returning to Fallout with its very own spin-off game, and said more info would come in the future.

Fallout 76 will get a "huge" new DLC called Raven Rock, which will serve as a prequel to Fallout 3.

Starfield is slated for more content, with a Starborn DLC on the horizon, and more tools and features to boost Creation Club content. Bethesda says Starfield remains "an important part of our future."

Elder Scrolls 6 is progressing nicely, and Todd says that the studio is "where they want to be" on the game's development timeline — but don't expect it any time soon.

Elder Scrolls Online will continue to get new seasons, and Zenimax Online Studios will be more directly integrated into Bethesda proper to improve collaboration.

Elder Scrolls VI is Bethesda's current primary focus, "we're where we planned to be, loving how it looks, and playing every day."

A big part of the wait revolves around Creation Engine 3, which Bethesda has been developing specifically to boost simultaneous franchise development and improve Creation Club tooling.

I know these guys are a reference to the second game and based on the concept art from the third one. Wanamingos are blind, aren't they? Is this hole supposed to be their nostrils? The plushie makes me think they are eyes.

The "Doors Begone" mod for Fallout 76 replaces the doors with plushies so you can walk through then. Some locations, however, allow you to see the effects of Occlusion Culling.

For those that don't know what Occlusion Culling is, it is a performance enhancement technique used my 3D games. Basically, if the player can't see it, it doesn't need to be rendered.

The mod changes the door's hitbox and model but doesn't change it's coding. So when you click on the plush to change the door's state to "closed", the game understands you can't see things on the other side, so it stops rendering everything.

It's something you, normally, won't see happening, but this little quirk with the mod allows you a glimpse on how the map would look without any objects.

Believe it or not, I had a classmate who still had a washing machine like this in the 2010's. This unlocked a memory I didn't knew I had. Do people even still use these today?

I wonder if they are nuclear-powered here. Imagine needing a fusion core to wash your clothes.

I forgot about the autoclicker running for two hours.

At least I got the achievement

Bless their heart tho, not every day you get someone just saying hi for no reason.
