Looking for a Marvel Multiverse RPG group total beginner but super eager to jump in anyone looking?

I’ve never actually played a TTRPG before but I’ve been wanting to for a while now, and Marvel Multiverse RPG feels like the perfect way to finally dive in. I’ve already got two character ideas brewing so the motivation is definitely there lol.
If anyone is running a game or putting a group together and has room for an enthusiastic newcomer, I’d love to get involved. I’m down to play online Discord, Roll20, whatever works for the group. Just shoot me a message and let’s make it happen!

looking for more songs like Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) by MIKA for the gym, that kind of dancy upbeat energy

because that song genuinely goes so hard at the gym and I feel like nobody talks about it enough. there is something about that kind of bouncy fun energy that just hits different when you are trying to push through a set and I need more of it in my life.
not looking for the typical hype rap or heavy metal gym playlist stuff, more like that fun almost theatrical dancy energy where the song is just so good you forget you are even working out. bonus points if it is something you can fully belt out between reps.

Hey everyone! Complete beginner here looking for some advice.
I’ve never played D&D before but I’ve been building a character and I’m really excited to actually play. I was thinking about heading to my local game store to find a group or a session is that a reasonable way to find my first game? Do stores usually run beginner friendly sessions or open tables I could just jump into?
Also I built my character entirely on D&D Beyond. Is that acceptable at most tables? Can I use it to roll dice and reference my sheet during a session or do most groups prefer physical sheets?
Any advice appreciated. I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing but I have a character I’m really excited to play and I just want to get to a table. Thanks!

Hey, I’ve never actually played before but I’m about to try joining a game at a local store, and I made my first character. I’m just trying to make sure I’m not messing anything up mechanically and also not being annoying at the table.
The character is heavily inspired by Danhausen, but flipped. Instead of very evil very nice, he’s very good very blessings.
He’s a Cleric who believes the world is spiritually sick and that his blessings are the cure. Even damaging spells are “corrective blessings.” If someone resists, he thinks they’re just more sick. If they accept it, he gets super excited and treats them like they’re fully cured.
Other traits:
Loves “good coin” and wants to build his own kingdom, have a parade, own a horse named Ferguson, etc
Makes ridiculous trades (like offering a half used candle for valuable items)
Misnames people and creatures constantly
Very theatrical, kind of moves like he’s always making an entrance
Extremely persistent but will back off if clearly shut down and say he’ll “return later to finish the blessing”
Mechanically I’m trying to keep everything normal (Guiding Bolt, Bless, Cure Wounds, etc), just flavored differently.
What I need help with:
1. Building the sheet properly
What ability scores should I prioritize for a Cleric like this?
What skills should I take that actually make sense with this personality?
Any recommended subclass that fits the “blessing / correction / cult leader” vibe?
Good starting spells/cantrips I should 100% have?
2. Actually playing him at the table
How do I balance the voice/personality so I’m not too much all the time?
When should I go full “very good very blessings” vs keeping it quick?
How do I roleplay someone this persistent without stepping on other players?
Any tips for making this funny long term instead of repetitive?
3. Staying alive
I only have like 9 HP at level 1 so:
Where should I position myself in fights?
When should I be healing vs attacking?
Any beginner mistakes I should avoid as a Cleric?
I really like the character idea and want to commit to it, I just don’t want to be “that guy” at the table or build him wrong.
Any advice is appreciated
