Ours is so bad because of how much stuff we're marking, it's like a jungle. Ive tried to straighten it before but the influx of customers who add to it by dropping whatever they change their minds on because they're too lazy to walk back...it's impossible to keep it straight
Hi, new here. I got some clip ons earrings recently from a vendor at a dealer hall at a convention at the beginning of the month. I don't have my ears pierced for a few reasons:
Because of this I just would rather go down the route of clip ons. I wear these at work because they're fitting for the place I work at, and thus put them on for each shift (which can vary from 4 hours to 8 hours. The pain of the pinching from the clips is ironically one I can tolerate in the time of them being on, and sometimes I pop in some Tylenol because Im already dealing with a headache so it helps to reduce any, but it's kind of that "hiccups aren't real" mindset to try and ignore the pinch and it sometimes actually works in not recognizing they hurt. All up until I take them off in which i immediately use hot water on my hands to add heat relief to the areas.
Only recently after I think like 8 shifts? Have I started to notice the spots have started scabbing over.
Is this just from the friction of pulling them off? Or is it because I didn't let my hears recover with enough time before putting them back on?
Is there a better way to curb this?
Holy hell parents are literally the WORST. Gross and Unsanitary beyond belief especially WHEN THERES MULTIPLE PEOPLE BEHIND YOU I HAVE TO CHECK OUT.
I just started a new job a few weeks ago at a craftstore. It's already hell on my emet because im constantly nauseous and im terrified of being sick in public. To make matters worse, i work weekdays, especially morning and afternoon shifts.
I already despise kids for a multitude of reasons, but they get sick so easily and I KNOW parents are shitty and will still take their kids on errands even if they're home sick. Im paranoid each time I see a kid who should definitely be at school in the store touching everything... and I can't risk getting sick at all.
I seriously want to be home already but i still have 5 hours left... i feel like hand sanitizer every hour isn't enough
Please for the love of god if your child is ill DONT BRING THEM OUT OF YOUR HOUSE.
Im freaking out rn. Ive been at work for three hours already, i still have another hour and a half left. Not even thirty minutes to my shift i had to use the bathroom. It was straight watery d*. Earlier this morning my stomach had been cramping a lot. I had a granola bar for breakfast but rn i have no appetite whatsoever. Im feeling really hot and im sweating like crazy. Im currently on my 15 minute break but just walking to the back i was starting to feel really n* and feeling kind of dizzy...
I dont know if im s or if i got the parasite:( and i cant leave early because im part time so i already dont make a lot, and unless im actively v* he wont believe me, tell me im not sick. So i have to struggle or end up facing my worst fear in public (which is already one of the biggest parts of my emet...)

I was handed a bunch of posca paint markers to put back but there was far more than what could fit on the hook, and when I asked my manager where they go (i thought there would have been some bunkers like with our balloons section but no..) she told me overstock which are the giant boxes on the top of the aisles. Haha. Ha. Grabbed the smallest ladder- could not even get up the third step without my legs vibrating like crazy. Terrified of heights, terrified of falling off ladders, especially some of these metal ones that feel unbalanced. I eventually found a coworker and asked if they could do it for me.. 😭

I just recently started working here and going up and down the isles has really started to make me wonder.
When I was a kid, I used to go to Michael's somewhere in North Houston, this was like 2000s/early 2010s. I vividly remember walking in, the classroom for the events directly on the left of the entrance, and how I'd immediately dart to the left side isles to find that giant stand right on the edge of one of them that had a bunch of different wooden little shapes, animals, fantasy creatures, flowers, rainbows, etc. for people to paint. I remember the decorative square paper sheets and the paints, the wooden little treasure boxes and the gray/white clay structures and trinkets waiting to be painted and brought to life. Sure there were some faux floral stuffs and fabric, but I don't remember all of the home decor I see today. I don't even see those little wooden ornaments anymore.
Why is there an entire "Reflected Romance" section thats literally just already fully functional and designed signs, stands, picture frames, PILLOWS?? When did Michaels start selling Halloween animated mini sets and lawn stands? Whats the deal with the kids section literally just being flooded with toys you see at target?
Am I just recalling childhood Michael's differently..? I know we absorbed more fabric due to the shutdown of Joann's (Rest in Peace beloved..) and with the loss of Party City we're now Balloon central, but I don't know how we ended up becoming a secondary Hobby Lobby?? Even a customer the other day after I answered a question said "I should have just gone to hobby lobby" after we didn't have what they were looking for. Like why didn't you do that in the first place??? 😭

I developed trich back in middle school, sometime around 2011/2012. It was minor back then and only affected my eyebrows.
At one point in highschool i had picked too much and decided it would have been better for me to just shave them off entirely. Over the next many years I'd end up continuing to pluck, and did so subconsciously, Usually in moments of high anxiety/stress. Definitely had many moments of trying to redraw them on be it with eyeshadow or only in the past two years, a proper pencil.
Only within the past year did my trich move to my eyelashes... and it was partially due to seeing some of my eyelashes turning white, while partially also being due to my eyelashes sometimes feeling that itchiness and trying to get rid of it.
The problem with eyelashes in particular, in comparison to eyebrows, is when they grow back. The feeling is itchy, painful, obnoxious. And trying to avoid pulling out the new ones growing back in, is extremely hard with my sensory issues. Ive made progress in letting my left eye recover, but my right eye is still taking time to adjust.
(Also ive been idk how many months clean on my eyebrows but they've been fully grown back for a while! Ive been doing pretty good at avoiding the urge)
Anyway, idk if anyone else has a similar struggle or not, but man these suck.
Ever since I saw the news of the outbreak, I've been paranoid beyond measure. I don't have insurance, so getting sick with this particular parasite (which has actively sent people to the ER/UC) has me freaking out because I know I can't afford it. The last time I went to urgent care it was a $1600 trip. I genuinely cannot do that again, when I don't make much at all to begin with.
Not only that but I have severe emetophobia, and seeing that a lot of people are reporting v***ting as a symptom, has me freaking out.
I start a new job on Tuesday. I genuinely can't afford to risk getting sick, and I'm now hyper-analyzing and scrutinizing every single produce we have. Even at the grocery store today when I was asked what vegetables to get (I also have ARFID so this is already an extremely small list), I had to try and desperately think of only vegetables that can be cooked..
Im desperate for this outbreak to end already, I feel like I'm suffocating trying to figure out what's safe to eat anymore.

I'm freaking out. Ive been feeling unwell for several hours and Ive been suffering a headache for a few of them. Im struggling to try and sleep even though I'm beyond tired. I'm flipping around constantly unable to get comfortable (which is annoying because I know the left side is the best to sleep on). Anytime I try to close my eyes and sleep im wracked from my stomach bubbling and gurgling while my mouth salivates and tastes weird. I keep seeing images flashing in my head, including while simultaneously feeling, the urge to run. Like it's going to happen. I tried to use a sleep mask to help but the nausea just came back.
I can't even get sleep anymore, like I feel as if i have to entirely exhaust myself just to get anywhere..

(Mentioning now that I've only seen up to Sun and Moon, so I don't know anything about Goh's character)
Personally I think I enjoyed Cilan's character the most as a companion. There was something kind of refreshing about his character not having a crude joke as a gag. He was elegant, a fantastic cook, and a knowledgeable guy about so many things. I enjoyed his evaluations and the enthusiasm he had talking about all of the things he loved. He still had great outlooks on strategy in the way that Brock had, but also was able to learn more in a way like Clemont.
I can understand liking Brock, genuinely a caring person just wanting to do the best for Pokémon, mature in the nature of understanding Pokemon and battle strategies, the chef of the group, and learning that he shifted his dream from a breeder to a doctor was honestly really cool. But the "I must hit on every single woman I see" over and over again really drags. And clearly no amount of ear grabbing or croagunk stabbing ever broke that habit.
Clemont was cool in his own way, being able to being science and engineering into the dynamic was pretty fun, but also I wish there were more times where his gadgets did fully work instead of falling apart within 2 minutes. I appreciated that he was also able to learn more on his journey with the group to improve his battle skills and abilities and you could really see the growth that he made, but unfortunately he was also part of another "hit on every woman in sight" gag from his sister, which I know is not his fault but I just felt bad having to see him forced into uncomfortable situations constantly. The poor guy could never catch a break.
I don't know if I'd fully classify Kiawe and Sophocles as travel companions, given they're majority of the time stationary classmates. But Sun and Moon broke away from the formula as a whole, so I'm admittedly a little skewed in perception and opinion. I'd really love to hear people's thoughts and opinions on these two to help me understand a little better.
Ultimately I just enjoyed Cilan's character a little more than the others and he's my personal favorite. I'd love to hear who your favorite is and the why behind it!
Im so tired and feel like every night im unable to sleep at all. Right now im fighting a headache that's annoying. Its 5:24 am, and im beyond tired but trying to sleep while having a tight nauseous stomach is making this impossible. Especially when i constantly "feel" it happening. I just want to sleep like a normal person.

Im absolutely terrified rn. I feel so n* and something just feels really off. Im getting flashbacks to previous times ive been s* and the feeling is vivid. Im scared and i cant fall asleep, there's a weird taste in my mouth and burps arent helping.

Some of the biggest faults I personally have with SS are
-"Try it on" and "Take a look" are no longer guaranteed results. Meaning if you click either, they're not definitive. Some will entirely wear things when "taking a look" and others will not wear the stuff at all after "trying it on". I love to use try it on sparingly if I want to fix an out. I'm a fan of selling junk if you will, so I'd constantly use "take a look" in FF to remove inventory I couldn't fit anywhere or didn't vibe with, while still keeping profit.
-Mannequins in SS don't like chic clothing in general even with the shop properly decorated as such and wearing chic clothes. Ive heard it's an issue of there being a budget cap but that would discredit gothic and lolita style's really fast

So my bf and I live together but sleep in different rooms for a couple of reasons. About 30 minutes ago he was in my room for a little bit but then said he was tired and going to bed.
Shortly after- maybe about ten minutes, he came back downstairs and asked if he could sleep with me. I asked if something was wrong because he almost rarely does this (we plan out "sleepovers" usually), and he just kept saying it's nothing... but it's clearly something because he's trying to hide crying and his breathing is fast paced, so an anxiety attack maybe... but I don't know what or why and thats what scaring me.
He told me that if he ever did v* he wouldn't tell me about it. Ever. So his reluctance to tell me what's bothering him now has my hackles up, and my anxiety running... I feel like such a horrible gf, because he's dealing with something, but my phobia is kicking in high gear and I can't tell if it's because he's s* or not... I don't know what to do rn, my fight or flight is kicking in and Im trying to be here for him but I just keep seeing bad images in my head of him v* in my room or just at any point...
What do i do 😭 I can't risk a potential bug i just cant... I want to go upstairs but i dont want to desert him either... i feel like im the worst partner ever..
I'm constantly struggling and it feels like I can't go one day without feeling n*... im unable to sleep at night, often going to bed between 5-7 am, because I feel too unwell to actually sleep. It all keeps my body up. I can't lay down without feeling like it's going to happen so I need to sit up.
I struggle to go to the bathroom at times, because I'm scared it means it'll happen. So I just walk back to my bed and hold it. Even showering is hard for me because I'm scared of it happening while doing so, and sometimes shower every 4 days. I know that's really bad to do, I genuinely hate that my phobia does this to me.
I'm struggling rn, it's 5:20 am, I don't feel great, my stomach keeps cramping and I feel g**gy even with sipping on water. I just want to sleep, but my body won't let me. I have my tv on for a distraction, I'm on my phone for a distraction, but I can't get passed the bad feeling enough to let me sleep.
I know I desperately need therapy and medication, especially for my audhd, and obviously my anxiety, but I can't afford it, and have no insurance. I use the distractions, I have the pepto, I only have a few zofran left from my prescription last year, I have the peppermint oil, I have the ginger, I have the breathing techniques, but I still can't break this. What am I missing? What other mechanisms are out there that I haven't touched upon? I feel like I'm reaching the end of my options and am only left with just suffering and fate accepting now.
Im tired, i just want this to end. I havent been normal in 7 years+... i want to return to before. When i could walk a lot without issue, go out with friends and hit up the mall, see a movie, eat out at restaurants, have a job with consistent pay (im freelance rn), and be able to spend time with my bf.

I want to also mention that I don't know the cause either. It might be that I overworked myself (I had a long subathon stream event that lasted 12 days where I was streaming 8-12 hours every day). But just waking up today... er i guess yesterday, I felt bad, with this stabbing pain I felt just a couple inches above my belly button. I was frustrated because my BF and I were getting ready to go to the morning showing of TADC the final act. We still ended up going because we had already paid for the tickets months ago. But I definitely struggled a lot with my anxiety and my stomach the entire time.
When I had gotten home I took a nap but became rattled with a splitting headache that still hasn't gone away even after three (properly timed) doses of tylenol... I haven't eaten much either outside of leftover orange chicken, popcorn, and cheezits, but ive not had much of an appetite to begin...
Idk what to do, I can't figure out how to get to sleep, and I cant lay on my left side because my nose is stuffed on that side... please, any advice or suggestions or assurance, im so scared 😭 i have so little zofran left and im trying desperately not to reach for it
So im not sure if its because my supposedly oncoming "period" or not but i feel absolutely awful.
My stomach hurts and i feel horribly n*, and have had unpleasant d* trips. I feel my throat/neck heating up and it just feels so hot even with my fans on... (opening my window will not help its like 90° outside).. i took some pepto several hours ago, and again just now (but it burned to swallow for some reason)... i can't sleep at all and im shaking...
Even if its not necessarily from a sickness, im still so terrified to tu*, especially because i have a long work event for the next four days at the least...
I genuinely don't know what else to do, and im desperately trying to avoid taking the last few zofran i have...
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to try and fall asleep outside of laying on my left side?
Id also like any suggestions to curing my n* or just preventing the act at all...
