Woke up this morning to this, the surface of the water looks like i fed them but i haven't.
I upgraded the tank yesterday and honestly can't stop looking at them swimming around, i love how reflective the water line is too.
I've just introduced them into a new set up, they've been there since.
Is this normal behaviour?
I think they come from an apartment nearby. My apartment is at the end of the hallway, so it's safe for now.
How can i protect my apartment?
I have contacted management and reported this almost a week ago, they said they were aware and have contacted a professional that will place bated traps. Still no sight of these "traps". I have no idea what the plan is for the infested apartment. I'm pretty sure I've seen males and "juveniles" so they are definitely breeding and the coming out of the apartment.
The hallway is getting vacuumed a few times a week, i have also lined my door with some kind of roach insecticide.
Please please help, i really don't want these in my house...
There's only one big enough that's visible on the video. There's only about 5 sea babies in there. When i added the egg sachet, a week ago, there were many more but they've all died (I'm assuming for the heatwave?!). What can i do to help boost numbers? Is it okay to feed every few days?
Side note: there seems to be one that is bent? Almost L shaped and swims a bit weird, im assuming that's not normal?
I know little to nothing about water pumps, so any tips are more than welcome. The goal is to make the tank self sufficient before i go on holiday. As of now im manually adding oxygen with a pipet daily. Also very new to keeping sea brines, started my tank on the 19th of june
It's so pretty i don't want to kill it 😩
Just moved into a new apartment and was pretty disappointed. I had a list of things i wanted the agency/landlord to sort out. Everything was agreed upon before i paid the deposit. I moved in today to this.
Their excuse for not cleaning up the mould was because i had stated i wanted to paint the property myself.
I explained that mould needs to be treated and that's not something i was going to do as a new tenant especially as it was one of the points specified in the list i had sent before paying the deposit.
The "furniture" which let's be honest is just junk, they tried to argue that i couldn't get rid of it as i would then have to pay, and that I hadn't specified that i was going to bring in my own sofa.
Like hellooooo? Look at that thing!
After a nightmare day, they sent someone out to come look into it and agreed to get rid of it tomorrow.
Any advice going forward in case they don't come and replace everything else in the picture?
