Just heard about the Collection releases, don't have a BR player. Options?

I'm a longtime fan who last watched the show about 20 years ago, I've been trying to convince the Mrs to give it a go but she's struggled with the poor definition on a modern TV.

I'm not big on streaming services but after a rudimentary search it doesn't appear that there are online versions of the newly remastered releases, am I wrong? Any rumours of it happening?

I don't plan on buying a player for one thing, no matter how great it is - although I have just noticed USB players exist that will connect to an already in situ PC, so that could be a thing if there are no other options on the horizon.

Tags to get rid of the 'stripped back' start to the final chorus?

I started playing around with v4.5 a month ago, really only tinkering with some ancient FLStudio mp3 exports and giving them vocal tracks and better production via the 'cover' option, kicking out about 2 dozen tracks I was happy to listen to.

Last week I made the move to v6 on the Pro tier and have been going through those earlier projects again to give them a polish/different sound. Some of them have just gone through a remaster and gave me no problems, but I've been desperate to redo the lyrics in some after hearing the songs 15-20 times so I also started re-covering some of those 4.5 covers into the new v6 model with lyrical tweaks.

One thing I've noticed though is that Suno now just loves to come out of the bridge (or final pre-chorus, or an instrumental break, however the song is structured) and drop most of the instruments out as the final chorus begins, sometimes leaving it with just a drum beat behind the vocals, or maybe something softer, before getting halfway in and then ramping it back up to finish.

I don't mind that as an option sometimes but it seems to be the default style now, and I'm struggling to find a direction I can give to put in the lyrics box that guarantees preventing it when I just want the music to keep a consistent flow - or come off a stripped back bridge immediately into a full chorus.

Anyone know how I can achieve this? If there's a completely different workflow that lets me change lyrics without going via 'cover' then that could work too. Still pretty new to all this and have only had Pro for about 3 days.

Which controller - 24V 3W lamp

I'm looking to add smart control to an IKEA Varmblixt and want to put a device inbetween the transformer and the lamp itself, it only needs to have a dimming function as there's no RGB or CCT in the lamp. The lamp has been modified to get its power from the room's lightswitch and the wiring goes up and across the loft space so size isn't really an issue as it's not having to sit inside a wall.

I'm in the UK, what's my best option from the current Gledopto range? I've used a controller before for kitchen cabinet lighting but I can't find that specific model on the product page anymore.

Would a GS3 suit this setup? Any audio delays via 3.5mm?

I have a PC in my office which, along with a couple of other audio devices, run into a small mixer. The monitor output of that mixer runs into a mid range 2.1 speaker setup and my plan is to run a 5m RCA/3.5mm cable from the main around the wall to the other side of the room, so that when I put music on I can dial up the output on the main to better fill the space. As there's already a sub at the desk I don't need another one involved. I'll probably have the lights lowered at the time so wouldn't mind a bit of mood lighting coming off the speaker itself. I could use a pair of speakers but the space I have to put them in would probably suit a soundbar just as well.

One concern I do have is even a slight delay in the output of the GS3 caused by signal processing etc. I have an old JBL portable thing I was using to test the concept and it worked perfectly, but I use that in the shed since it's weatherproof. So I bought a newer, nicer JBL speaker to use instead in the office, but when I put on some music there was a horrible half-beat difference and I had to send it back immediately.

No reviews talk about this stuff so to avoid wasting a load of time buying and returning different models I'm hoping someone on here might know.

Foreign property - rental income, SA, etc

My UK-resident partner has recently inherited a house in Greece, which is shortly to be rented out (managed locally by her parents). The rent is paid in Euros into a Greek bank account. As I understand it, she would pay tax in Greece, but still need to fill in a self assessment in the UK to declare those earnings and also claim relief for the tax already paid.

She's concerned though that any paperwork she'd have to support the numbers on the SA would be in Greek and whether would cause a problem down the line.

Separately, the HMRC guidance on this suggests to check the relevant double taxation agreement for any exceptions that may result in still being liable for some tax after the relief is applied, but I've looked at the document and to be honest (and apologies for this terrible accidental pun), it's all Greek to me... not sure if that's likely to be relevant for something this low level or if it's more for businesses.

I fill in an SA myself but it's all domestic stuff and have always had an accountant who just takes my paperwork and generates the numbers, is she best off just doing the same but looking for a firm that specialises in foreign income and would be able to sort out any translations internally?

Does a 0% balance transfer made to a 'spending' CC complicate things?

Currently have an HSBC Premier credit card which I use monthly for spending protection, building up points etc. Direct debit is set up to pay the entire balance each month which is usually somewhere around £300, aside from once/twice a year when it also has a bit of holiday expense on it too.

I've had an offer through from HSBC to move existing balances from other CCs to this one for 15 months @ 0% for a fee, before the end of May. I do have almost £2k on a Santander 0% card currently & the period on that is due to expire in October.

It's not something I necessarily need to do anyway, but it did get me thinking about how it would actually work, given my existing regular usage.

If I were to move that £2k to the HSBC card, how would my regular spending/repayment be affected? Would my existing direct debit need changing before it tried to basically pay off the entire lot next month? How is the 'purchase' pot on the card kept separate from the '0% BT' pot?

We only have a PC connected to our venerable C1 via the HDMI 2 port and use no other inputs/apps at all, never have done. Since Thursday morning, it has had this weird quirk, in that when it comes out of standby it will bring up the PC's desktop for between 5-60 seconds maybe, then the screen goes black (think there's a brief LG OS 'swirl'). At that point I have to get the remote control, press the source button and reselect HDMI 2, and then it goes back to the PC screen and stays on without further issue.

It's really just an inconvenience at the moment, dunno if it's going to become more of a problem though. Any ideas what might be going on?
