I'm confused here, The Dairy House Industrial building unlocks with Livestock Farms, however...

I've plopped this building near my Fishing Industry given this, but it feels like an error.

Update: The mega pre-plan is now becoming a city.

No mods on this one. Playing raw.

  • Started the small downtown that will eventually look tiny compared to when the rest is built.
  • Trains and Buses are up and running, industry is a little far but thriving due to the transportation options, I think.
  • First smaller population center created to support the Timber and Textile industry.
  • Finally feel like I am making good proper use of district specific services and detailed taxation structures.
  • Really trying to build slow. One down side to having this much a city/map preplanned is resisting the urge to zone quickly. Really hoping to avoid the death waves later on.
  • Gunna let what built already sit and grow, do the detailing on it before I add more.

This one is gearing up to be my best city yet. Thanks for coming on my journey with me folks.

Update: Editor, mega pre-plan.

Seemed like the biggest amount of feedback when I posted this last was concerned about where all the people would go. I think Ive addressed that.

This city will have a heavy train focus from center to center. Ive also added some other features like the airport area.

I think I'm getting close to starting a city on this map finally.

For those who didn't know, you can still complete a bunch of achievement if you kind of set it up ahead of time in the Editor on a map. I'm hoping to build a city here where I can unlock all specialized building including all region sets.

Also I recently learned that there is a money cap at 2 billion in case you were also someone that needed to hear it.

Trying to pre-plan a city as much as I can in the editor. Are my resource areas balanced enough based on their sizes?

Assuming there are resources painted in each respective area, should I adjust the sizing of any of the resource boundaries? I always feel like I end up needing more than I have.,

What is the best way to engineer a latch for this visor. Without tape, it sags and wont stay flat against the top.

I've already tried sticky velcro strips but the sticky sides of the strips couldn't hold the weight and eventually released after like 2 months.

I've been thinking of drilling in some kind of latch that's similar to the latch on the an airplane seat-back tray table, but don't exactly know what a latch like that is called?

Anyone have any better ideas, this visor is driving me absolutely bonkers when it sags.
